BARSTYS, Robert (Bob) -
General Motors employee 1977-1989. Suddenly, after a brief illness on Sunday June 9, 2002 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 43. Bob is predeceased by his father Anthony Barstys, and is survived by his mother Marie Barstys, and his sisters Donna and Ramona Barstys. Bob was the loved uncle of Tim Hewes, Tina Hewes, Alyssa Hewes, Mandy Haagensen, Tara Haagensen, and Dylan Barstys, and remembered by his long time girlfriend Bonnie Hebert. Remembered for his kind-heartedness, generosity and fun loving nature, Bob will be sadly missed by friends and family. Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Tuesday, June 18th from 2pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 3pm. Memorial donations to Gate 316 Street Mission would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully, on Sunday, June 9, 2002, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry. Myrtle (nee Randall), beloved wife of the late Cecil Brien of Caesarea. Loved mother of Heather and Ken Clement of Indian River and Darlene Rutherford and Murray Bull of Oshawa. Loving grandmother of Derek, Adrian, Jeff and the late Scott, and great grandmother of Austin and Jessica. Dear sister of Jim Randall and the late Joyce Dobson and Gordon Randall. Relatives and friends will be received at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Wednesday, June 12th from 1 – 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Myrtle Brien will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. with Reverend Karen Bursey officiating. GREGSON, Roy Thomas -
Suddenly on Sunday, June 9, 2002. Tom Gregson was the beloved husband of Betty (McCallum) Gregson of Port Bolster. Loved father and father-in-law of Marilyn (Ronald) Reid, Sandra (Paul) James, Lynne (George) Lester, Robert (Lynda) Gregson and Donna (Seldon) Brooks. Sadly missed by grandchildren Shawn, Shannon, Dawn, Kevin, Bradley, Jennifer, Stacy Anne, Sabrina and great-grandchildren Alyssa, Rachel, Jamie, and Gregory. Brother of Marlene (Sherman) Carpenter. Survived by two nieces and two nephews. Colette is survived by her two brothers Larry Lachance of Montreal and Lucien Lachance of Worcester, Massachusetts. Predeceased by one brother Leo and a sister Georgette. Dear brother of Joan Lippens (Robert) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, John Reed (Ruth Taylor) of Sundridge and Margaret Reed-Boudreau (Edward) of Tilbury. Predeceased by his parents Morris and Ethel (Hart) Reed. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and many friends. Born on November 5th, 1933 in Ijlst, Friesland, The Netherlands. George is survived by his loving wife Mary for 46 years. Loving father of Sandra and Jan, Ed and Pam, Kim and Al. Loving and treasured Opa of Cody (his big guy) and Dana (his princess). George is also survived by his sister Lies and brother Ben, many in-laws, nephews and nieces. "Especially treasured by niece Ingrid van Delft". George was founder of New Way Plumbing & Heating, Est. 1959, Oshawa.
