Suddenly at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Thursday, August 8th, 2002. Michael Francis Aylward, in his 80th year. Michael was a dedicated member of The Cape Breton Highlanders (1940-1945) and L.C.B.O. Quarter Century Club. Devoted and loving husband of Lorraine for nearly 50 years; beloved father of Holly, Michael and his wife Cheryl and Darci. Proudest Poppa of Sam, Madeleine and Blake. Left to mourn are his cherished brothers and sisters: Bill, Leo, Frank, Albert, Joe, Fred, Rich, Rose, Theresa and Florence. Predeceased by his sister Alice and brother Jack. FRISQUE, Emile W. -
passed away at Lakeridge Health Centre, Uxbridge, Thursday, August 8, 2002 in his 92nd year. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Lonny, three brothers, and one sister. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his children, Muriel and Neil Tait, Michael and Margaret Frisque. Grandchildren Jackie and Tom Eagles, Stephen and Deirdre Tait, Karina, Jenica and Gregory Frisque. Great granddaughters Chantelle, Candace and Christine Eagles. His sister in law Agnes Frisque her children and their families, and his many friends in Uxbridge and around the world. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge on Thursday, August 15th, 2002 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

At Strathaven Lifecare Centre, Bowmanville on Thursday, August 8, 2002 in her 95th year. Gladys (Moore), beloved wife of the late Kenneth Gamsby. Loving mother of Kay and her husband Harold Snell of Whitby, Grace and her husband John Boyd of Orillia, Doug and his wife Barb of Guelph, Jim (deceased) and his wife Nancy of Whitby. Dear sister of Marie Graham of Scarborough and pre-deceased by Dorothy, Marjory, Clara, Grace, Norah and George. Lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. MOORE, Ralph "Doc" E. -
passed away at the age of 90 years on July 8, 2002. He was a native of Saskatchewan and a 65 year resident of Oshawa. "Doc" will be sadly missed by his children Fred & Janet (Moore) Ingersoll of Yucca Valley, CA.; Graham & Shawna Moore of Vancouver, B.C.; sister Vera Carlaw of Whitby, ON; grandchildren Scott Ingersoll of Mesa, AZ; Michelle Ingersoll 29 Palas, Ca and great-granddaughter Keersten Ingersol of Yucca Valley, CA. An interment service will be held at 10:00a.m. on Thursday August 15th, at MOUNT LAWN Memorial Gardens, Whitby with Rev. William Tadejah of Centennial Albert United Church officiating. If desired memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Ralph's memory would be appreciated by the family.

OULTON, Phyllis -
passed away at Sainte-Anne de Kent, NB on Tuesday, July 30th, 2002 at the age of 64 after a lengthy illness. Born in Bouctouche, NB on October l4th 1937; she was the daughter of the Late Gerard Berthe and Rita LeBlanc. She is survived by four daughters, Katherine Walker (Joseph), Sherry Samson (Douglas), Misty Oulton (Frank) and Melissa Cole (Ray), two sisters Jeannette Marcoux (Paul-Emile) and Gisele Douaire (Robert), brothers Raoul (Maria), Paul and Marcel (Joanne), two grandchildren, Shane and Tyrone, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Ron Oulton and second husband Guy LeBlanc; and brother Jean-Maurice. KASHUL, Michael -
We are sad to announce the passing of our father and grandfather, Michael Kashul, born in Oshawa, November 10th, 1912 and died at the Bowmanville Memorial Hlospital on August 7th at the great age of 89. He was predeceased 18 years ago by his best friend and wife Hazel Carter. Loving father of Kathryn (Walter) Rudy, Judith Kashul (James Coulton) of Montreal and Anita Kashul, of Basel, Switzerland and his four grandchildren Mallissa and Andrea Rudy and Ruth and James Coulton. Predeceased by his sister Dorothy Lucek and his brother William. Survived by sister-in-law Joyce Kashul, Alma Riddiford and brother-in-law Doug Carter. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. HUMPHREY, Dorothy -
Born in Oakville, May 7, 1907, was the daughter of J. Frank Humphrey and Mable (Perkin) Humphrey. Attended Public and High School in Oakville. Her first experience in business was the boot, shoe and leather store. Her parents in Oakville owned this until the late 20's or early 30's. She was then employed by the Lee Siegrest family in 1935 and transferred to the Uxbridge store as Manager where Mr. Siegrest had recently purchased the store from Mr. J. Siegrest Sr. S he was employed here until her retirement in 1972. She was a member of St. John's Oakville Methodist Church until 1925. In 1940 membership transferred to Trinity United Church in Uxbridge where she was a choir member until the late 50's. Was a member of the U.C.W. and a member of the visiting committee but the last few years was one of thephoning committee. After retirement, she was a Hospital Auxiliary Volunteer where she served as Auxiliary Treasurer, Gift Shop Convener and also a member of the knitting committee. She became known as the "Bootee Lady" as the Auxiliary donated a pair of bootees to each new baby born in the nursery. She was presented with an Honorary Life Membership by the Cottage Hospital Uxbridge in 1992 and a Life Membership by the HAAO Ontario in 1994. Predeceased by parents, brother Herman, nephews Doug and George, survived by Barry and wife Shirley and family, Susan and husband Gary Stewart, Scott of California, Shelly and husband Rod Graham of Calgary, Sherilyn and husband Michael Vincent. Nancy and sons, Dru and wife Audrey, Dale, Dean and wife Cathy, and Darren of Kitchener and five great, great nieces and nephews, Sarah and Aaron, Emily and Hillary, and Taylor. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Uxbridge Lakeridge Hospital Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation. Resting at the Funeral Home of Low & Low, Uxbridge.
