PUGH, Grace
Passed peacefully, with family by her side, on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Gilmore Lodge, Fort Erie, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry J. Pugh and beloved mother of her late daughter Carol Ann and late son Earl. Loving mother of Laurie Ann and her husband Tom Marriott. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her grandchildren Connie, Wayne, Diane, T.J, Dallas and 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Friends called at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South (northeast corner of Yonge & Industrial Parkway South), Aurora, 905-727-5421 on Monday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment , Newmarket cemetery. Notice dated 2007-12-11

COX, Ralph F.
It is with great sadness that the family of Ralph Cox announce his passing, on December 7th, 2007 at the Hill House Hospice in his 70th year, after a valiant battle with lung cancer. Beloved husband of 50 years to Barb (Parker). Loving father to Cheryl (Andy) Dunleavy, Glenn and Janet, Donna (Buck) McLarty, Allison (Roger) Robinson, Elaine and her partner Greg, David and Denise, Michael and Fiona, Stephen and Janice. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his 18 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Ralph and Barb moved from Chateauguay, Quebec to Aurora in 1976, where they raised their family and retired to Kitchener in 1997. They spent their winters in Largo, Florida and vacationed for many years in St. Maarten. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Hill House Hospice. Friends may visit at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South (northeast corner of Yonge Street and Industrial Parkway South), Aurora, 905-727-5421, on Tuesday, December 11th, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 12th, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Aurora cemetery. DUER, Karen (nee Butterworth)
passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side December 7, 2007 age 56. Karen spent her lifetime in the food industry and was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She loved dogs and she bred Standard Poodles that brought enjoyment to many people. Karen was an accomplished seamstress. Karen will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her father Bill. There will be a celebration of her life in April. Notice dated 2007-12-11

Born August 13th, 1916, passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2007 at Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 66 years, Florence (nee Taylor), as well as two brothers Sam Sward and Jim Sward. Fred also leaves behind three children Robert (Yvonne), Mary (Syd Brown) and Bill (Jan) as well as seven grand- children; Cori, Nat, Andy, Travis, Edward, Kelly, and Michael and four great grand- children; Rhiannon, Sarah, Ben, and Meaghan. It is with a heavy heart we announce Bill's passing on December 7, 2007, peacefully at York Central Hospital, with his family at his side, following a long struggle with Parkinson's. Bill is survived by his wife, Ann, his sister Peggy, and his three children, Mary Ann Bertram (Geoff), Bill (Martha), and Cathy McCord (Rick). Bill will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Geoffrey, Katie, Jennifer, Lang, Liam, Graham, Julie and Cameron, in whom he took such a special interest. Bill's life was dedicated to his family who meant so much to him. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the caring staff of the fifth floor at Extendicare, York Central Hospital. Peacefully entered into rest, at her home in Newmarket, on December 8, 2007 in her 84th year. Loving wife of the late Ernest. Sister of the late Jack and Richard Spillette. Daughter of the late Joel and Muriel Spillette. Ralph Puncheon, of Newmarket, formerly of Toronto, dearly beloved husband of 66 years to Phyllis (Byford). Predeceased by his sister Doris (Haigh) and brothers Harry, Bill and Alf. Loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched. Ralph was a retiree of Dow Chemical, WWII veteran and life member of Silverthorne Legion (Toronto). At Ralph's request, there will be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South (northeast corner of Yonge & Industrial Parkway South), Aurora, 905-727-5421. Cremation has taken place. passed away peacefully at York Central Hospital with her family by her side. She is survived by her sons Michael, Peter and Paul and their spouses and children. Margaret was loved my many and will be missed. Many thanks to her friends for their support, love and caring over the past 7 years since her Bob passed.
