passed away peacefully at the Markham Stouffville Hospital on the morning of Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen (nee: Faragher). Loving father of Paul (Suzie) and Mark (Elizabeth “Buffy”). Proud grandpa of Jocelyne-Kay, Adam Vincent, Breanna-Marie, Declan and Aiden. Survived by family members in Douro, Ontario which he loved dearly. A visitation was held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main St. S. Uxbridge (905) 852-3073 on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 7–9 p.m. A Funeral Mass was held at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (70 Toronto St. N. Uxbridge) on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 9 a.m. Cremation followed. If so desired, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society.

passed away suddenly on Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital in his 79th year. Beloved Husband of Kathleen “Kay” (nee: Nighswander) for 52 years. Devoted Father of John (Debbie), Kris (Milly), Kirsten (Robert McFayden) and Mary-Jane. Danny left this world peacefully on July 18, 2011 to join his wife, Rose the love of his life.
He leaves behind his son David and his family, sister Joy and brothers Jack and Jeff and their families.
Predeceased by his father Joseph Dunbar, his mother Relda Head (Jeffries) and many brothers and sisters.
As Danny wished, cremation has taken place.
The family knows Danny felt the warmth of living in a loving home and would like to thank the staff (especially 3rd floor), volunteers, visitors and friends at Specialty Care Case Manor, Bobcaygeon.

Known years ago to many local residents as the “egg lady”. passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital in her 76th year. Survived by her husband James Abraham Best of 50 years. Fondly remembered by her daughters Sandra Juanita (Douglas Johnston) and Sarah Jane (Kristian Harris). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Emily Violet Audrey Henry and Dalton Patrick James Henry, known as her “Tweedlebums”. Survived by her sisters Margaret Hackner, Eva Andersen, brother Gordon Doonan and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Laura Ogilive and Audrey Standish. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Allenwood cemetery. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will follow at a later date. The family extends thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital for the continued care and compassion they provided for Violet and our family during these past weeks.
