After a long and happy life, it is with sad hearts we said goodbye to Fred on Saturday, December 26 th , 2009 in his 93 rd year. He was a beloved husband and soul mate to the late Mildred (nee Hollinger) for over 60 years. Fred was the cherished father of Keith (Diane) Puckrin, Roy (Marilyn) Puckrin, Lynda Davis and Dianne (Gord) Hooker and predeceased by Nancy Rogerson. Loving grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Fred was predeceased by his siblings Gladys Clemence, George Puckrin, Margaret Puckrin and Sadie Smith. (37 Year member of the Alano Club of Oshawa; Former member of the Ontario Provincial Police; Former owner of Acton Motor Sales of Uxbridge and Acton Motors of Whitby; former manager of Roadway Transport- Keith came into this world on March 2 nd , 1929 in Regina, Saskatchewan and left it on December 18th, 2009 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in his 81 st year. He was comforted by his large and noisy family. Beloved husband of Nancy Mathews and predeceased by his wife Joan Lenora Acton (nee Sweetman). Wonderful father of Debbie and her husband David Skinner, Robert Acton, Darlene and her husband Raymond Blades, Mary and her husband Randy Fice, Donna and her husband Doug McLeese and Denise and her husband Jeff Winter. Loving Tease to his grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Tiffany, Chris, Jason, Colin, Emma, Tyler and Erica.
