Beloved husband of Jennifer Remus and father to Lukas, Jake and Ben died suddenly on Saturday. Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario Andrew was a true "Northerner" who celebrated his Ukrainian heritage and whose love of life was infectious to all who knew him. His work life began on the rail lines in Thunder Bay and took him to Uxbridge where he raised his family and became a much-loved and respected teacher at Goodwood Public School. Andrew will be remembered for the way he embraced life and celebrated its' every moment with his family, friends and community. He is predeceased by his parents, the late Dr. Bohdan Myhal and Victoria (Balabuck) Myhal. A celebration of his life was held at Trinity United Church, 20 First Avenue in Uxbridge on Friday, June 19 th at 2 p.m. Doors open at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Myhal Education Fund for his three sons would be appreciated. Brown, Frances Evelyn Louise (Nee: Jones)
Frances Evelyn Louise Brown of Uxbridge, Ontario passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family at her side after a 3 year courageous fight with cancer on Monday May 25, 2009 at the age of 76. Frances was born August 1 st 1932 in York Township in Toronto. She was the loving daughter of Chesley Jones and Eva Head and grew up on Pinewood Avenue. Frances went to Vaughn Colligate and married Charles Franklin Brown on September 18, 1954 at the Church of Saint Michael and All Angels. Frances and Chuck moved to Rexdale where they lived at Fingal Place for 50 years and brought up two children, Kathryn and Keith. Frances spent her leisure time in her flower garden, at the family cottage in Minden and was also Queen for the Daughters of the Nile in 2003 - 2004, Oronto Temple No.69 in Downsview. Frances worked for Bell Canada, The Coop, Gay-lea Foods and the Workers Compensation Rehab Centre where she retired at age 65. Frances's unconditional love and strength will be forever cherished by her supportive and loving husband Charles married for 54 years; by daughter Kathryn, son Keith, their partners and extended families; loving grand children; Matt and Candace, Christopher and Melissa. Joe passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on the 11 th of May at the age of 83. He leaves his family, his wife, Winnie, his children, Lynda and Gary, their children Sara and Travis, Adam, Martha. Larry and Syndi, their daughters, Susannah and Flannery. Leslie and Doug and their son Douglas. Mary-Jo and Frank, their children, Peter, Stephen and Carly. Stephen and Sandy, and their daughters Caitlin , Allison and Hilary. He was Jo Jo to his two little "dolls" Olivia and Gabrielle, who brought such joy to his life. He leaves his brothers Bus (Pat), Bill (Mel) and his sisters, Alyce (Gerry) and Joyce (the late John). Predeceased by his siblings Anna , John, and George. He also leaves his lifetime friend Joe Marzalik (Marg.) Eileen Ruth McKeon (nee Aucoin) of Port Perry, Ontario passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Ontario on May 9, 2009 while in the company of her husband, Tony Mckeon. Prior to leaving us Eileen spent many hospital hours and days with her loving son, Cameron (her proudest achievement in life), her mother and father, John and Danena Aucoin, her brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Jill Aucoin, her brother-in-law and father-in-law, Rob and Mike McKeon, and numerous other family and friends. Eileen was 42 years of age and worked for Cameron Coffee of Port Perry, Ontario. A wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend, Eileen was deeply involved with her family's sporting and social activities. She loved and was loved by her niece, Madeleine, and her nephews, Turner and Will. She will be deeply missed by all friends and family. Eileen's funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church at 1710 Scugog Street, Port Perry, Ontario.
