"Ed" Keenan passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Markham Stouffville Hospital after a lengthy but courageous battle against the ravages of scleroderma. He was 69 years old. Beloved partner of Joy Udall of Uxbridge, and loving father of Loren Rivard and Susan Matthew who reside in British Colombia. Also survived by his two grandsons, Sasha and Graydon, his sisters Elizabeth, Helen and May and his brother Russell. Beryl died peacefully in the early hours of January 11, 2009 with family by her side. She would have celebrated her 84th birthday next week. She was born in Toronto and lived most of her adult life in Oakville, spending the last decade in Port Perry. Beryl, whose maiden name was Hohs, married Doug Forster in 1949. Beryl was an artist, rug hooker, reader, golfer, bridge player and traveler. Miodrog (Micky) Jovkovic (57), on August 1, 2008, a loving husband, dedicated father, brother, uncle, grandfather and “best friend” to many. Amazing husband to Dorothy (nee Keyzers). Inspirational father of Ben, Amy and Elise; stepfather to Candace Rolston and guardian to Charlene Pilgrim. Proud grandfather of Heaven’ly, Luca, Elizabeth and Nevaeh. Dear brother of Eli Jones (Grace), Rose Perisic (Milovan), MaryAnn Turner (Rick), Donna Parisien (Andy), and Danny (Olga). Beloved son to Rade and Marija, and son in law to Bill and Ricki Keyzers. Uncle to many loving nieces, nephews and their families. Micky had a passion for flying which started at a very young age. His life came to a sudden end while flying as owner/operator of Greenbank Airport, his “Dream come True”. Micky and Dorothy have been well known as the owners/operators of Uxbridge Travel Centre. Micky’s open arms led to his involvement on a personal level with many friends and families, and in the greater community through organizations including Prison Fellowship, Uxbridge Rotary Club, COPA, UPAC, and “The Hangar” a seasonal fly-in-church held in the hangar at Greenbank Airport. Micky was an active member at the Uxbridge Baptist Church. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our family, our staff at Uxbridge Travel Centre and the many friends that have been at our side with love and support through this tragic loss.
