It is with sad regret, that the family of Wilbert Couch announces his passing on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Versa Care Nursing Home in Uxbridge. Wilbert was predeceased by his wife of 58 years Reta (McLean) in 1996. He is survived by his 6 children: John Couch (Willy) Fort St. John, BC; Jim Couch (Sue) Lynden, ON; Marie Hamonic (Ivan) Medicine Hat, AB; Marion Barnett (John) Uxbridge, ON; Rod Couch (Carol) Seagrave, ON; and Karen Poulsom (Wayne) Fenelon Falls, ON. He was the proud grandfather of 22 grandchildren and sadly predeceased by 2, Greg and Shawn Barnett. His 28 great and 2 great-great grandchildren brought him much pleasure. There was celebration of his life at the Seagrave United Church, on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Seagrave United Church would be appreciated by the family.
Monk, Rita
Peacefully at the age of 80 on Saturday, May 12, 2007 in Uxbridge. Predeceased by her husband Chas. Much loved mother of Richard, Thom and Linda. Beloved Nana of Dylan and Colton. Rita was a devoted mother and grandmother who embraced life on her own terms - a remarkable woman whose wisdom, wit and compassion touched all who knew her. She will be missed. According to Rita's wishes, no service will be held.
