passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health, Port Perry on Thursday February 5th, 2004 in his 81st year. Dearly loved husband of Inez Curl. Much loved father of Lucille Curl of Kinmount, Gary Curl and his wife Candelaria of Scarborough, Debbie and her husband Chuck Dickey of Owen Sound, Tammy and her husband Scott Noyon Whitby. Predeceased by Wayne. Fondly remembered by Larry Swartz. Loving grandfather of Julia, Natalie, Geophrey, Graham, Ian and Reilly. Great grandfather of Tristan. Survived by his brother Walter Curl of Coboconk, and his sister Ardath Pringle of Mount Forest. Predeceased by his brothers Chelsey and Reg. Fondly remembered and sadly missed by his Foster Children. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN LTD., 79 Baldwin Street Brooklin Village from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Then to Brooklin United Church, where family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Monday until time of funeral service to follow in the church at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at GROVESIDE cemetery. General Motors Corporation 40 years service. Peacefully on Thursday, February 5th, 2004 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville at the age of 70. Guy is survived by his wife Cora, his children Guy Jr., Danny, and Lisa and her husband Keith Swanton, his grandchildren Ron and Krystle-Leigh Swanton and his brother Fred and his wife Lucy LeBlond, and sisters Doreen LeBlanc, and Lea and her husband Rene Girard. Guy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family and many friends. Peacefully in her home on Thursday, February 5, 2004. She married Kevin McAllister Sr. in 1953 and moved to Whitby in 1967 where they raised four sons. Doreen's love and pride was her family. Before her retirement, Doreen enjoyed working with Kevin in running the family business until his death in 1997. Doreen always displayed her own sense of style and a positive outlook on life. She is survived by her four sons and their families; Kevin & Jane of Whitby; Tom & Patti of Toronto; Bob & Barb of Whitby; Patrick & Helen of Whitby, and eleven grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers and their families; Bill & Marie Murphy of Toronto; Russ & Gerry Murphy of Oshawa; Tom & Edna Murphy of Stillwater, Minnesota and her brother in law and his family, Ian & Jenny McAllister of Montreal. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with visitation Sunday from 2 -4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 903 Gifford Street, Whitby on Monday, February 9th at 10 a.m. Interment will be on Tuesday on Doreen & Kevin's beloved Wolfe Island.
