VAN HEZEWIJK, Frank M. -
passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, November 24, 2003, at 69 years of age. Frank, beloved husband of Catherine. Dear father of Lisa (Rob), Brian (Ann), Susan (Don), Mike (Jennifer) and Frankie. Beloved Opa of Avery, Henry, Kyle, Gabriel, Mia, Ethan, Ericka and Isobel. Will be sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Low & Low Funeral Home, on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (70 Toronto St. North, Uxbridge). In Frank's memory, donations may be made to the Oakridges Trail Association (P.O. Box 28544, Aurora, Ontario L4G 6S6).

Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, with family by her side on Sunday, November 23rd, 2003, in her 48th year. Beloved wife of Mark. Loving mother of Stephanie, Kevin and fondly remembered by little Albert. Loving daughter of Margaret and the late Fred Cowling and dear sister of Norma (Bob) Newell and the late Joe Blair and Bob (Darlene) Cowling and predeceased by Fred 'Chess'. Dear daughter-in-law of the late Aline and Lionel Gionet and sister-in-law of Lea Cowling. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the neighbours, Nurse Cathy and Dr. T. Anderson. Loving mother of Karen and her husband John Jeminiany and Dennis and Heather Hayward. Dear Nanna of Fallon, Cody, Darian and Myles. Helen was the oldest girl of a family of 17 children and will be sadly missed by all of her friends and family. Loving father of Brandon Laurendeau, Cassandra Laurendeau, and step-daughter Tiffani Baron. Caring uncle of Cindy Lepine, Nancy Lepine, Eric Laurendeau and Marie-Claude L. Valance. Brother of Nicole Laurendeau, Claudette Laurendeau and Guy Laurendeau. Brother of Walter Young and Donald Young of P.E.I., Jimmy Stewart of Peterborough, David Stewart of Janetville, Debbie Slavin of Bethany and Sylvia Chrysler of Hamilton. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN LTD., 79 Baldwin Street Brooklin Village from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service in the chapel Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 23, 2003 in his 63rd year. Longtime general manager of Ariss Haulage and family friend to the Ariss family. Loved son of the late Sydney and Jean Wonnacott and brother of the late Frank. Sadly missed by his wife Bonni. Loved and cherished father of Lori and husband Scott, Stuart, and John and wife Rose. Stepfather of Leanne and husband Mike, and Grant and wife Kim. Deeply missed and dearly loved by brothers Bill and wife Mary, Stanley and wife Lynne, and sisters Marilyn and husband Ron, Carolyn and husband Bill. Beloved grandfather of Ashley, Sydney, Cory, Brittany, Derek, Spencer, Coleman and Kayley. Loved and missed by many nieces and nephews and other friends. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church (65 King's Cres., Ajax) with interment to take place at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens in Whitby. CHESWORTH, Herbert Owen -
Royal Canadian Signal Corp (Ret'd) and Uxbridge Legion Pipes and Drums (Ret'd). Bert passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, on Saturday, November 22, 2003 in his 81 year after a lengthy battle with cancer and emphysema. Predeceased by his wife Audrey. He will be sadly missed by his dear friend Edna, brother Ritchie and his children, Rick and Wendy, Bert and Sam, Kathy Geer and Larry, Jim and Traci. Also, lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jason and his wife Kim, John, Brandon, Lenore, Nathan, Kelsey & Hillary. A Legion Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at The Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 170, 109 Franklin Street, Uxbridge, followed by a time for fellowship at the Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 170 or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated.

Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Saturday November 22, 2003. Elda Costelloin her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband Henry Costello. Loving mother of Therese and her husband Ed Hughes, and Mary and her husband Sandy McDonald. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Martin McDonald and his wife Michele, David Hughes and his wife Tonya, Stephen McDonald and his wife Reni, and Katrina Hughes-DeMan and her husband Greg DeMan. Elda will be missed by her many friends. Resting at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice 905-432-8484 (4th set of lights east of Townline Rd.) with Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of St. Gregory the Great (Simcoe St. and Adelaide Ave., Oshawa) on Tuesday November 25 at 10:30 a.m. The family of Elda will receive friends on Monday from 7-9 p.m. Interment Resurrection cemetery , Whitby. Prayers will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Palliative Care-LHO, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
