WRIGHT, Gerald Gordon -
Aged 54 years, 30 Year Employee of General Motors of Canada. Suddenly on Saturday November 22nd, 2003. Beloved father of Kris & his wife Sheila and Joe Wright. Dear "Grampa" of Trenton Wright & Sydney Wright. Survived by his spouse Francine Wright and by his brother Wayne & his wife Mary Lou. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Tuesday 7-9 pm & Wednesday 12 noon to 1pm. Funeral Service will be held in our Chapel 1pm Wednesday. Cremation. Memorial donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation in Gerald's memory.

LUCAS, Cecilia -
Entered into rest at Lakeridge Health Corp. - Oshawa on Friday November 21st, 2003, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Clifford. Predeceased by her parents Henry Mette and Elizabeth Lohmann. Devoted mother of Connie Tomlinson and the late George, Gail Otvos, Terry and his wife Donna, and Brenda Meadows. Grandma of Greg, Jill Whitmarsh and her husband Scott, Sheila, Tobe and his wife Donna, Todd, Juliana, Tyler, Ashley, Brent and Mark. We have all been blessed to have had such a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Cecilia had a great love of music. She dedicated 30 years to the music ministry at St. Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church, many of them as choir director. She gave unselfishly and asked for nothing in return. We will all miss her. Resting at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday November 25th, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. Interment Resurrection cemetery. Prayers at the funeral home Monday at 7:30 P.M. Donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Monday.

LUPTON, Edward Alexander -
Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Friday, November 21st, 2003, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Isabel Lupton. Father of Robert, Gail and her husband Stephen Shine, John and his wife Adriana, Sandy and her husband Robb Caswell and Sue and her husband Kevin Bain. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Ashley, Spencer, Nicole, Natalie, John-Michael and William. Survived by brother Albert. Proud founder of Millwork Home Centres, established in 1950. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE 'Thornton Chapel', 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Monday, November 24th from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. A private family funeral service will be held. Memorial donations to the Canadian Juvenile Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

MASON, Barry -
passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Friday, November 21, 2003, at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Patricia nee O'Brien. Dear father of Brian and his wife Sarah, and Susan and her husband Christopher. Cherished grandfather of Bradley, Andrew, Caroline, and Samuel. Also survived by his aunt Ingrid Sandeman and cousin Alan Sandeman, both of Ottawa. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (200 Morrish Road, Highland Creek). In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

In the spirit of celebrating the life of a man profoundly loved, we announce the peaceful passing of Bill Rothery who moved "through the gate" on Friday November 21st, 2003 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Survived by Iris, his loving wife of 49 years. Loving father of Earl (Cathy), Karen (Scott) and loving Grandpa of Jordan & Korina. Bill is survived by his twin brother Jack (Ruth). Loving uncle of Bryan (Kathy), Rhonda, David, Olga & Janine. A Memorial Service of celebration & thanksgiving will be held on Saturday Nov. 29th at 1:30pm at First Baptist Church, 812 Hortop St. Oshawa. The family wishes to thank all the staff on 6F for their love, support & the exceptional care given to Bill. For those who wish to honour his memory, donations may be made to The First Baptist Church Organ Fund or to The Canadian Cancer Society.

passed away at Bay Ridges Long Term Care Centre, Pickering on Thursday, November 20, 2003 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late John. Predeceased by her dear daughters Mary Ann Mastihuba and Lorraine St. Andrews. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Fred St. Andrews. Ann is predeceased by her brothers 'Slim', Joe, Phil (survived by his wife Jenny) and Tony Prankie. Much loved aunt to nieces and nephews and also fondly remembered by her god-daughter Delores Miles of British Columbia. Special thanks to staff at Ballycliffe Lodge, Ajax and Bay Ridges, Pickering for their gentle love and care. With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband father and grandfather, Petro Nowosad on Thursday November 20, 2003, at the age of 82. Born in Ukraine, Petro came to Canada more than fifty years ago In Oshawa, he worked at GM for 30 thirty years. An avid singer, he belonged to many choirs. Beloved husband of Ewdokia Bobyk. Dear father of Ola Nowosad and husband Roman Molodynia, Natalie Nowosad and husband Phil Henstock. Predeceased by daughter Anna Nowosad (2002). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Krista, Andrew, Olivia and Thomas.
