Harold Godfrey in his 92nd year, was the beloved husband of the late Florence Dart and lovingly remembered by his special friend Doris Negus. Loving father of Shirley Cox of Whitby, Sharon & her husband Harvey Burke of Bowmanville, Lynne Lee of Oshawa and predeceased by his daughters Joan & Margaret Godfrey and Fern McGillis. Lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and his many great grandchildren. Dear brother of Gerald Godfrey of Courtice and Hilda Palmer of Oshawa and predeceased by his brothers William, Roy, Ross, Joe and by his sister Helen. Mr. Godfrey will be resting at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street Lindsay on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Monday at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa from 2-4 & 7-pm. Funeral service will be held at St. George's Memorial Anglican Church, Oshawa on Tuesday November 11, at 1pm. Interment Union cemetery , Oshawa.
