ROBINSON, Norma Marie -
(Longtime member of Kingsview United Church and co-founder of Doubles Plus).
Peacefully, the Good Lord took her from the comforts of her own home and reunited her with her late husband Ches in Heaven on November 3, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Isaac Chester Robinson. Loving mother of Ralph and wife Anne of Barrie, Ruth and husband Ron Austin of Kitchener-Waterloo. Cherished grandmother of Lisa Sutton, David Robinson, Richard Robinson, Karen Scherzberg, Gary Austin, Cindie Buckle and Kent Austin. Great grandmother of 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Reginald, Bessie, Mabel, Charlie and Greg. Relatives and friends may call at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 152 King St., East, Oshawa (905-433-5558), on Thursday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, November 7, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2003 at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa, at 82 years of age, after a lengthy illness. Dearly beloved husband of Neonila (nee Kapij). Loving father of son Borys and daughter Roma Conium. Dearest grandfather of Helen, Jennifer and Rachel. Fondly remembered by his Aunt Nettie (wife of late Uncle Stanley Furyck). Nephew of late Aunt Paranka Zacharczuk. Cousin to Bohdan Zacharczuk, wife Oksana and children Matthew, wife Annette, and Donna. Brother-in-law of Zenowia Okipniuk and husband Walter; uncle of Irene, Myron and wife Shelly and their children Andrea and Avery. Brother-in-law of George Kapy and the late sister-in-law Kathy; uncle of Olga, husband Steve Blaszko; George; Kathy and husband John Fernicola, their children John-Christian and August; Walter and daughter Jessica. passed away peacefully at Oshawa General Hospital surrounded by family on November 2, 2003 at the age of 83. Norma will be missed by her husband John of 63 years, her daughters Gloria Elliott (Murray), Patricia, Wynne (Mike) deceased, her sisters and brothers Connie Galt (Bud) deceased, Marie Tarrant (Frank) deceased, Elsie Jarvis (Walter) deceased, Barbara and John Aselstine, Wanda and Pat Killeleagh, Alexander and Marion Western, Newton and Megan Western. Norma was a grandmother to Lisa Benoit (Bill), Jennifer Johnson (Andrew), Andrea Reiffenstein (Charles), Johanna Sapinski, Jonathan Sapinski, Kelly Drury (Grant), and Jim Elliott. Great grandmother to Jacob, Danielle, Nicholas, Jessica, Anthony, Lucas, and Noelia. She was an amazing woman and an inspiration to many. Resting at The OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE, THORNTON CHAPEL with visitation Tuesday November 4th, 2-4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with prayers being said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Gregory The Great in Oshawa on Wednesday November 5th, 10:30 a.m. Interment at Resurrection cemetery. If desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

WILSON, Douglas Worthington -
After a courageous battle with cancer at Lakeridge Health Port Perry on Monday, November 3rd, 2003, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Marion Furey. Loving father of Paul and Wendy of Oshawa and David and his wife Andrea of Oakville. Devoted grandfather of Ashley and Emily Wilson, Tara (Souch) of Oshawa and Emily and Owen Wilson of Oakville. Great grandfather of Aidan and Jaelyn. Brother of Herb and the late John Wilson. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and pets Simba and Seville. Doug served on Oshawa Town Council for several years and was known in Oshawa professionally for land development and real estate. EDDY, Larry Alan, FCA -
He died.
Those who knew Larry well would recognize that the above was the obituary that he requested. Larry passed away peacefully at Cygnet Hollow, his farm near Sunderland, Ontario, on November 2, 2003. His love and wonderful sense of humour will be greatly missed by his wife Dorothy, daughter Kimberley, son Kevin, and daughter-in-law Pamela. His sisters Carole Griffin and Sue O'Neill together with their spouses Peter and Bill and their families will miss him as well. At Larry's request, there will be no service. However, there will be an open house at Cygnet Hollow on Sunday, November 9 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. For directions, visit www.eddy.ca or call (705) 357-1908. LYONS, Betty Lou (nee Reid) -
December 17, 1945 (Orangeville, Ontario) - November 2, 2003 (Ajax, Ontario).
Betty Lou passed away at 1:30 a.m., unexpectedly and peacefully at Ajax-Pickering Hospital. She will be forever loved by her husband and soulmate of 30 years, Ron Halliday, and her children Sherry-Lee and Danette Lyons, and Bob and Dennis Halliday. She also leaves her brothers Ross and Marvin Reid, and many extended family members. Betty Lou touched so many lives through her compassion for the environment, her love of art and antiques, and her support of our aboriginal community. Betty Lou cared deeply for all animals and, up to her last day with us, was concerned for the well being of her dog and cats. While gone in body, her spirit will live on forever in us and around us. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Ajax-Pickering Hospital and Durham Region's Emergency Medical Service for their dedication and courageous efforts. Betty Lou will be resting at the McEachnie Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Please contact the funeral home for further information regarding the visitation and funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Toronto Humane Society in Betty Lou's memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.

(Longtime employee and retiree of Sears).
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday November 2nd, 2003. Bud MacInally in his 72nd year. Predeceased by his parents Ella and Ralph MacInally. Husband of Jean. Father of Randy (Sandra), Rob (Christine), and Jeff (Joanie). Poppa of Shea. Brother of June. Many nieces, nephews and extended family. Rested at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway # 2, Courtice (905-432-8484). A Private Family Service was held on Thursday, November 6th, 2003. Memorial Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Lakeridge Health Oshawa Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
