AIKINS, Gary - Peacefully on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband to Monique Bergeron. Loving father to Brian and his wife Leigh-Anne, and Michael and his wife Nuala. Cherished grandfather to Ryan, Evan, Maia, Renee, Rogan, and Erica. Gary was predeceased by his first wife Mabel (2001), and his brother Dick (2003). He is survived by his aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and their families. Gary will be fondly remembered by Lucie and her partner Luc, Isabel and her partner Emmanuel, Catherine and her husband David and the grandchildren Marianne, Elisabeth, Edgar, Beatrice, Charlotte, Anabelle, and immediate family and friends all of Quebec. Gary was a past president of Chinguacousy Lacrosse, and representative for many years with Chinguacousy Minor Hockey and Brampton Minor Lacrosse. He was also a general manager of the Bramalea Junior B Blues Hockey Club and an active member of The Sports Hall of Fame. Gary will be missed by his friends at the Breakfast Club and to all who knew him. Family and friends will be received at ANDREWS COMMUNITY FUNERAL CENTRE, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190 on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, November 8, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Meadowvale cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Princess Margaret Hospital and the Canadian Cancer Society in Gary's memory would be appreciated.

BAILEY, Lucy Kathleen - Died peacefully at The Pines Long Term Care Residence in Bracebridge on Saturday, November 3, 2007, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Bailey. Dear stepmother of Gwen Weller and the late Lois Belanger. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Catherine Elliott, June Moir (Bill), Margaret Kennedy (Gordon), Alfred Cook (Moyra) and Anne Smith (Ray). The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with the Service to follow in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment St. Stephen's Anglican cemetery in Vankoughnet. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka, St. Thomas Anglican Church or The Pines Life Enrichment Fund.

Cherished grandmother of Brittney, Christina and Larissa. Lovingly remembered by her family in Poland. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Church, 12 Denison Avenue, on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn cemetery. Prayers 7 p.m. Tuesday evening. BOURDON, Evelyn - January 3, 1916 - November 4, 2007 passed away peacefully at her home early on Sunday, November 4th, after 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Harvey, loving mother to Donna-Dale Smith, grandmother to Steven Smith (Claire Pitt), David Smith and Carolyn Smith, and very proud great-grandmother to Thomas. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Evelyn and her family are very grateful for the loving care provided by all of the residents and staff of The Briton House Retirement Centre. Friends may join the family at the Murray E. Newbigging Funeral Home, 733 Mount Pleasant Road (south of Eglinton), on Tuesday, November 6th for visitation from 12:30 - 2 p.m. and a Service of Celebration at 2 p.m., followed by a reception. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada, or to a charity of your choice.

OLGA VIOLET BROWN (nee GRANT) passed away at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississsauga, on Friday, November 2, 2007. Daughter of the late Walter and Llewelle Grant of Glace Bay, N.S. Loving sister of Crosby Nurse, Whitfield and his wife Loretta, Melvin and his wife Marjorie, Walter and his wife Patricia. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and godchildren. Very special thank you to Dr. P. Molner, doctors and staff at Trillium Health Centre, staff and guests of Westminster Place and her many family and friends for the kindness shown to Olga. Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, north of the QEW), on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A gathering to celebrate Olga's life will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

CACHIA, Maria Rita Rosa (Mary) - Suddenly as the result of a heart attack at home in Newmarket on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Mary Cachia, wife of the late Joseph and dear mother of Edgar and his wife Sandra, Maria Bussmann, Tony and his wife Maureen, Judy and her husband Bob Kane, and Rita Lagree. Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Chrysostom Church (Main and Ontario Sts.), Newmarket on Wednesday at 12 noon, followed by interment at St. John's cemetery.
