ADAIR, Gordon James "Jim" - passed away in Vancouver, British Columbia in his 39th year. Beloved son of Ronald James Adair and Betty Michaud. Loving grandson of Margaret Michaud. Jim will be sadly missed by his cousins, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-9 p.m. on Monday, March 27th. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon on Tuesday in CORPUS CHRISTI CHURCH, 16 Lockwood Road. Interment Mount Hope cemetery.

ADAIR, Margaret Isabelle - Peacefully at Versa Care, Etobicoke on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband Andrew. Survived by her loving siblings Joan Inglis, Millicent Burns, Bernice Brown, Bill Proctor and his wife Vivian. Predeceased by her siblings Alex, Grace and Elsie. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A private family service has been held. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 416-231-2283.

ADAIR, Pearl (nee McNeil) - (Veteran of WWII- CWAC) (Retiree of Honeywell and member of the South Pickering Seniors.) Peacefully, with her family by her side on Saturday November 12, 2005, in her 81st year. Beloved mother of Wayne (Cecille), and Barbara Adair. Predeceased by her daughter Carolyn Bestard. Cherished grandmother to Carrie Bestard, Shayne (Szilvia) Bestard, Stuart (Joyce) Adair, Terry (Chantelle) Adair, Jeffrey (Laura) Adair, and Jennifer (Mike) Adair. Adored great-grandmother to Jordan, Brayden, Daniel, Joseph, Carly, Sydney, and Cameron. Loving sister of Lillian Sweet, Agnes Allen (Lorne), and Donald McNeil (Phyllis). Will be lovingly remembered by many dear family and friends. The family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-428-8488 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday November 16, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Duffin Meadows cemetery. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

ACCORDINO, Carmela - Peacefully passed away at Leisure World O'Connor at the age of 93 years old on July 18th, 2006. Mother of Philip (Joanne) and Joe (Sharlene). Nonna to Guy (Brenda), Melina (Tony), Lisa (Brent), and Mike. Great-Nonna to Mattea, Emily and Rachel. Nonna to Angela and Philip. Family and friends will be received at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. East on Thursday and Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church on July 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

ACE, George - God called George peacefully on July 17th, 2006 from the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga at the age of 81. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Florence. He will be cherished by his dear son Father Greg. He will always be remembered by his brother Cecil and sisters Christine Ardis and Evelyn (Bob Paannen). Family will receive friends at the Fratelli Vescio Funeral Homes Ltd. (8101 Weston Rd., south of Langstaff Rd., 905 850-3332) on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 20th, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. from St. Leonard's Roman Catholic Church (187 Conestoga Dr., West of Kennedy Rd. N., North of Hwy. 7). Entombment to follow at the Assumption Catholic cemetery (on 6933 Tomken Rd. South of Derry Rd.). In lieu of flowers, the Ace family will accept donations to the St. Padre Pio Building Fund.

ACHESON, Belle Lottie (Hamblin) - Peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital on Friday, July 7, 2006. Belle Acheson, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of Janet and her husband Austin Lounsbury. Cherished grandmother of Joanne (Bob), Lynda (Rob), Ron (Linda) and the late Jimmy and his surviving wife Evelyn. Sadly missed by her 7 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and her budgie Ricky. Fondly remembered by her other relatives and friends. Family and friends were received Sunday, July 9 at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Cremation. ELSIE FLORENCE ACHESON
1926-2006

passed away quietly on May 9th, 2006. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Jean Hern and family, as well as by her children, Douglas Acheson, his wife Joan and family; Janet Henderson, her husband Brad and family; Margaret Fleming and son Patrick; Linda Cross and family; Patricia Acheson and family; and Charles Acheson. Sadly missed by her twelve grandchildren and one great-grandson. Predeceased by her husbands Ed Kell and Albert Acheson, brother Malcolm Phillips and son Robert Acheson. Her indomitable spirit will be missed. She leaves an immense gap in all of our lives. A celebration of Mum's life will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2006 with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the CHURCH OF CHRIST (on Strathmore Ave. opposite Coxwell subway station). As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation.

ACHESON, Kathryn Hanley - In Toronto on November 29, 2006, in her hundredth year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Irving. Dearly loved mother of Margot (John), Catherine (Connie) and Shelley (Terry). Cherished grandmother of Michael, Andrea, Megan, Kieran, Andrew and Patrick. Fondly remembered by her Wall cousins and three nieces. A woman of many interests - highly literate, political junkie, marvellous dancer and accomplished pianist. Heartfelt thanks to the second floor staff and volunteers of the Houses of Providence.The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. on Sunday, December 3rd. Funeral Mass at ST. ANSELM'S CHURCH (Millwood and MacNaughton Road), on Monday, December 4th at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow, Leaside Room in the funeral home. With tears in our eyes we said goodbye and watched you leave us to go to a place with no more pain. Domenic passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 4, 2006. Loving husband of Michelina. A devoted father of Antonietta (Stefano), Carmelina (Tony) and Filomena (Rocco). Proud grandfather of Roberto, Luisa, Domenic, Michelle, Amanda, David and Giuseppe. Dear brother of Filomena (Pellegrino) Colucci, Italy. The family will receive relatives and friends at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, 1871 Danforth Avenue (between Coxwell and Woodbine) on Monday, March 6th and Tuesday, March 7th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of his life will be held in St.Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 300 Wolverleigh Blvd. on Wednesday, March 8th at 1:30 p.m. Final resting place is at Highland Memory Gardens, 33Memory Gardens Lane (Don Mills and Steeles). For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
