ABBOTT, Florence - Peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at home in her 92nd year. Dear wife to the late Arnold. Loving mother to Barry and Valerie (Terry Vogan). Beloved grandmother to Wendy and Christopher. Eldest sister to Winnie Burnett, Elsie (Willis Blair) and Norman (Josee Clode). A private family memorial has been held at Florence's request.

ABBOTT, Janice - passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Thursday, November 30, 2006. Janice will be sadly missed by Duncan, her husband of 50 years, her children, Dawn (Donald), David (Karen), Stephanie (predeceased), her grandchildren, Lindsey (Curtis), Shannon (James), Blake, Deanna, Brianne, Candice, Blair, Jamie (Bryan) and her great-grandchildren, Cole, Gina, Bailey, Kayla and Ava. Private family service to take place. Services entrusted to Peaceful Transition Inc., Barrie.

passed away at Elginwood Long Term Care Centre, Richmond Hill at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Kay Abbott (1972) and the late Margaret Abbott (2002). Beloved father of Kathleen Anne Abbott. The family would like to thank the staff of Elginwood LTC Centre for their wonderful care. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 7th for a service in the chapel at 11 o'clock. A reception will follow in the Bayview Room of the funeral home. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Devoted grandfather of Adam, Jamie, Joshua, Allison, Jack, and Hayden. Devoted son of the late Nathan and Pearl Abbott. Brother of Michael Abbott. Peacefully with friends by her side November 5, 2006, in her 73rd year, at North York General Hospital. Predeceased by her husbands John Listman 1972 and Irvine George Abbott 1986. Sister of Taavi Joonase, Vivi Luik, and Maylis Welborn. Tiiu will be deeply missed by Bill, Peggy and Alex and her many other friends. She was a talented and respected fashion designer and owner of Joonase Fashions. As she wished, there was no funeral or ceremony. Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to Dr. Banerjee and staff at NYGH. If desired, donations may be made to the Cancer Society. "Just visiting this planet"

ABBS, Lawrence - With his family by his side, on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at the Post Inn Village in his 79th year. Much loved husband of Sybil (nee Harmer), dear father of Cathy Dytnerski (Mike), Debbie Wig (Mike), Sally McMillan (Gus), Patti Miller (Larry), Linda Cummer (Steve), and Ted. Loving grandfather to Mike, Jen, Jake, Susie, Angie, Kevin, Scott, A.J., Abby, Bryan, Laura, Lisa, Stephen, Amanda, Samantha, Ashley, Nathan, Nicky, and great grandfather to Tyler and Dylan. Also survived by his sister Ruth Crozier (Bud), sisters and brothers in law Mary (Joe), Al (Isabelle), George (Jean), Peg, Joan, and his many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Glen Oaks Visitation Centre, 3164 9th Line (at Dundas), Oakville 905-257-8822 on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.

RODOLFO ABCEDE

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, brother, and uncle, Rodolfo C. Abcede on Monday, March 6, 2006 at the age of 64. He was loved and cherished by all those who knew him. Rodolfo leaves behind many friends whom he made over the years. He loved working with others and enjoyed making friends. He contributed his kindness and friendliness as an active member of the congregation of Christ Centered Alliance Church. Rodolfo will be dearly missed by the many lives he touched. Let us pray for him as he passes into the Kingdom of God. He is survived by his two loving children, Rosier and Renier and their families. There will be visiting at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (just west of Warden) on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 14 and 15, 2006 from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. AFuneral Mass will be held on Thursday at St. Aidan's Roman Catholic Church, 3501 Finch Ave. East at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

ABDULL-BRANDON, Ilse - In her 80th year, slipped away peacefully at home on Friday, October 6, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the Ioving wife of Dr. Albert Abdull, cherished mother of Rose, Patricia Martha, and Tessa. Proud Oma of Rachel, Nicholas, Christopher, and Callum. Adored sister of Rita, Georgine, Ronald, Gisela, and Nadia. Special thanks to Dr. Bari for the care he administered. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christian Blind Mission or Dorset Park Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated by the family. Visitation Monday, October 9, 2006 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Ogden Funeral Home on 4164 Sheppard Ave. E. Funeral services at Dorset Park Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 12 noon. Funeral Mass to be held on Tuesday August 8th, 2006 at 11 a.m. in St. John Brebeuf Church, 7777 George St., LaSalle, QC. Interment at Rideau Memorial Gardens.
