ABRAMSON, Jean - Wife of Brian, mother of Tara, mother-in-law of John and grandmother of Alex passed away last Thursday, August 3, 2006, at home in Brampton, a victim of Leukemia. She was a 12-year survivor of breast cancer and an 8-year volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society. A Funeral Mass will be held for her this Friday, August 11th, 2006 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 66A Main St., Brampton. Her generous spirit, love and companionship will be missed. In lieu of flowers, Jean requested a donation to one of her favourite charities: Breast Cancer Research, Leukemia Research, Make A Wish Foundation, or Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA).

ABREY, Gordon 'Roy' - (WWII Veteran) passed away at the Trillium Manor on Tuesday, August 30th, 2005 in his 88th year. Roy, beloved husband for 65 years of Reta (nee Armour). Loving father of Neil. In her 74th year, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in the early morning of August 27, 2005. 'Liche' will be sadly missed by her loving husband Werner, of 46 years. Also, by her loving daughters Barbara (Charles) and Sabine. Omi shared happy and fun times with her grandchildren Stefanie, Christopher, Nicole, Amanda and Alexander. Alice is survived by her two younger brothers Volki (Yoli) and Jurg (Blanche) of Switzerland. ABUSHINOV, Sava (Sam) - The family announces the peaceful passing of Sam on January 8, 2006. He was a great husband to Wilma, a beloved father to Greg and a cherished grandfather to Ryan and Tyler. A proud and great man, he arrived in Canada in 1951 from Yugoslavia and took great pride in his new country. His 38 years of employment at Toronto General Hospital were soon replaced with his active retirement. These years were full of travel and he obtained great pleasure in his walks and talks with his grandsons.
