Czeslawa Wolanczuk
( Born in Bokinia, Poland on January 19, 1928). On Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at Mt. Sinai Hospital, dearly beloved wife of the late Mieczyslaw (1977). Loving mother to Irene Schmidt (Wojtek) and Ryszard. Dear grandmother to Jola, Basia, Grzesio, Zbyszek and Patricja. Sadly missed by sisters Jadzia, Halinka and brother Tadeusz. Czeslawa has made Canada her home for over 40 years but her heart beat for her native Poland. She loved poetry, music and humour. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers in the funeral home Thursday evening at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday 10:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Catholic Church (Tenth St.). Interment Park Lawn cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. David Dushenski at the Mt. Sinai Emergency Department, Dr. S. Donnelly at St. Michael’s Hospital and Dr. R. Stachula for all their excellent care and compassion.

Richard "Dick" D. Baxter
Peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 14, 2004. Richard, beloved husband of the late Villa. Loving father of Rick and his wife Jane, John and Beverley. Richard will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Peter, Brian, Lindsey and Michael. He is predeceased by his brother Geoffrey. Richard was the Dominion President of the A.Y.P.A. (Anglican Young Peoples Association) 1934-1941, Charter Member of Kiwanis Club of Sunnylea and Vice Chairman Assessment Review Court of Ontario. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service on Friday at 11 a.m. from St. Margaret's Anglican Church (156 - 6th Street). Interment Springcreek cemetery , Mississauga. Donations to St. Margaret's Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Julie Ileen Stobbs
On Monday, December 20, 2004 at Toronto Western Hospital in her 78th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late John Stobbs. Dear loving mother to Jim (Mabel), Bill (Catherine), Sarah and the late Tommy. Dear grandmother to Cary Ann Sarah, James, Scott, Becky, David Stewart, Crystal, Charlene and David. Sadly missed by her sister Elsie Miller and sister-in-law Helen MacIntyre. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. On Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga in his 72nd year, beloved husband of Maria Gloria. Loving father to Carlos and his wife Judith and Jose. Clifford Stanley Mason
passed away peacefully at the Trillium Health Centre-Mississauga Site on November 1, 2004 in his 96th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Edna of 53 years. Loving father to Vivian Purdy, Sylvia Meisner (Gary), Doris Mahoney and Diana Mackie (Phil Broadhurst). He will be sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his 3 brothers and will always be remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to all the staff at Meadowcroft Place for the care provided. Mitchell Stanley Nizinski
Peacefully, in his 67th year on Wednesday, November 3, 2004, at home surrounded by his family. Dear loving husband of Halina (nee Moskal). Loving father to Brenda, Daniel, Teresa and her husband Henry. Dear son of the late Joseph and Cecilia Nizinski. Mitchell will also be missed by many friends and his "companions" Cheekie, Minnie and Reflex. Mitchell was a lover of music and an accomplished trumpet player and played his polka music with a band throughout Ontario and elsewhere. He was also a 45 year employee with Sears Canada. Peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Garden Court Nursing Home in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Franciszek. Loving mother to Wanda Poprawa, Leslie and the late Zdzislaw. Also sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Halina. Dear grandmother to Andrew (Rita), Isabel Grace (Michael), Margaret Wolak, Christine Wolak and great-grandmother to Spencer, Joshua, Alexandra, Jason and Travis. At McCall Centre for Continuing Care on Sunday, November 7, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Jan (John) Tworek. Loving mother of the late Jenny Legenza. Predeceased by son-in-law Joseph Legenza. Dear grandmother of Christine and her husband Jim, Irene, and Richard and his wife Toni. Proud great grandmother of Julie, Mark, Elyse, Sam, Kyle and Eric. Always remembered by the Stempak, Tworek and Solek families. Special thanks to the family of the late John Stechly who gave Jan and Aniela the chance for a better life in Canada. Peacefully at the Toronto Western Hospital on Saturday, November 6, 2004 in his 72nd year. Ronald, beloved brother of Kay, David, the late Norman, Doug, Paul and Sandra. Cherished Uncle of Dave, Cindy and Colleen. Loving great uncle to Shannon and David. Ronald will be remembered by his extended family of many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the O’Neill Centre for the care they gave Ronald during his stay. Ronald was a former long time employee of Continental Can (Concord Plant). Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on November 22, 2004 at the age of 94. Predeceased by his 2 wives Amelia Paterson and Helen Haines. Loving father to Ron and his wife Beth and Steven. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Leslie, David, Sheila and great grandchildren Katie, Nicole and Brodie. Survived by his brothers Jimmy, Fred and sisters Ivy and Elsie. A Memorial Service will be held in Ronald’s memory on Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at 1 p.m. from Patterson Presbyterian Church (109 Harvie Ave., Toronto). Cremation has taken place.
