Mary Cutmore (nee Kozub)
Peacefully on August 21, 2004 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in her 91st year. Beloved wife of Mel and loving mother to Ron. Survived by her sister Ann, brother George and predeceased by her sisters Dora, Kay, brothers Steve and Nick. Mary will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Margaret Mary Donoghue
Peacefully at Toronto Grace Hospital on Sunday, August 22, 2004, Margaret Mary Donoghue (nee Major). Dear wife of the late Edward John Donoghue (1994). Beloved mother of Kevin. Loving grandmother of Caitlin. Will be missed by sisters and brothers Maimie Nevins, Ursula Daigle, and Ken and Bob Major. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Frank Mismas
Peacefully on Monday, August 23, 2004 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga Site in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Marija. Dear brother of Kristina Mismas and Marija Modrijan of Slovenija. Frank is also survived by his nieces and nephews in Slovenija. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Thursday at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, 739 Browns Line. Interment will take place in Slovenija. Donations to Dom Lipa would be appreciated.

Pamela McIntyre
Peacefully on Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga site in her 57th year. Loving sister to Carole Rason (Philip), Bruce, Mary Lee and Harry. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Pamela’s cousin Sandra Moran for all her special care and help. Predeceased by her parents, the late Harry McIntyre and Mary Beatrice McIntyre (nee Moran) and her brother Brian (1959). A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 11 a.m. from St. Leo’s Catholic Church, 277 Royal York Rd. followed by interment of ashes at St. Mary’s Catholic cemetery , Port Credit. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Leo’s Catholic Church would be appreciated.

Krystyna Grotowska (nee Szpanowska)
passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Mount Sinai Hospital on Tuesday, August 24, 2004. Krystyna was devoted to her mother country, Poland, and worked tirelessly on many projects for the betterment of her fellow Poles. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by family, friends and colleagues. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. A Funeral Mass to follow at 11am from St. Mark’s Catholic Church (277 Park Lawn Road). Cremation.

Ann Cahute
(Retired employee of Canada Post) At St. Joseph’s Health Centre on August 28, 2004, Ann Cahute passed away in her 78th year. Predeceased by her husband Nestor. Loving mother of Shirley, and Bob and his wife Bernice. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Meghann, Larissa and Stephen. Survived by her sister Joanne Horning. Suddenly on Friday, August 27, 2004 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Toronto. Dear father of John, Janet, Peter and Kathleen, and Judy. Will be greatly missed by grandchildren Ashleigh, Alyson, Julia, John, Scott and Cole. Survived by his sister Kathleen Robson and ex-wife Dorothy Galbraith. Sadly missed by the Belnaps. Peacefully at the Toronto Grace Hospital on Tuesday, August 31, 2004. Lena, beloved wife of the late Boleslaw (Bill). Loving mother of William and his wife Jean, Tom and his wife Lindy, Rick and Christine and her husband Gary Zawerbny. Jennifer Bridget Scott
Peacefully at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on July 8, 2004, surrounded by her loving family. Cherished daughter of Dorothy and Bob Scott, will forever be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and mostly mom and dad who are grateful for the 18 years of her life. Jennifer joins her grandparents who will lovingly care for her until we join her. “If daisies grow in heaven, Lord pick a bunch and place them in Jennifer’s arms and tell her it’s from the family and friends and tell her how much we miss her.” Many thanks to all the staff at the Trillium Health Centre, Dr. North, Alenka, Derick, Donna, Stephen and many others who have cared for Jennifer and provided support to the family at this most difficult time, you have done an outstanding job. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 12, 2004 at 3:30 pm from Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Roman Catholic Church (739 Browns Line, Etobicoke). Cremation has taken place. Peacefully on Sunday, July 18, 2004 at McCall Centre for Continuing Care in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Frank. Dear sister to Ciril Glivar, Ivana Novak and Terezija Hrovat all of Slovenija. Mary Wasag
Peacefully at home in her sleep on July 21, 2004, at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by husband, John, and son, Edmund. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved son, John; beloved daughter-in-law, Midge; grandchildren Kelly, Peter, Stephen, Kristyn and Andrea; and six great grandchildren. She dedicated her life to family and community having spent 75 years as a volunteer serving the Polish community. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Angels Church at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, followed by interment at Sanctuary Park cemetery.
