George Evans (Ev) Munckton
It is with great sorrow our family announces that on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 Ev passed away in his 87th year surrounded by his loving family. Now reunited in eternity with his wife Ruby, he will be dearly missed by his daughter Joanne Martin and her husband Andy DeRegt, grandchildren Jim Martin, Cliff and Judy Whiting, and great-grandchildren Cheryl and Mike Whiting. Ev, a World War II Veteran who served in Italy, returned in 1945 and began a successful 35 year career with the Etobicoke Hydro. The family would like to extend it’s appreciation and thanks to Maria Arvai, a loving and devoted caregiver, and to all the staff at the Toronto Grace Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their dedication and support.
