Jose Alberto Correia
passed away peacefully on Sunday January 8, 2012 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, with family by his side. Jose Correia, of Port McNicoll, beloved partner of Alison Dunlop. Loving father of Suzanne, and step father of Nathan and Emma; and two grandchildren. Dear brother of Delphia, Maria, and John. Jose will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends including Sergio. Family and friends will be received at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Friday January 13, 2012 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church, Midland at 2 o’clock. Spring internment to follow. Robert Wilson James Murday
passed away peacefully on Thursday December 1, 2011 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland, in his 79th year surrounded by his family. Bob Murday, of Midland, beloved husband of Jacquline; loving father of (Eliza)Beth (Mike) McCormick of Midland, Brent (Teresa) of Penetanguishene, Robert (Judy) of British Columbia, Brian (Kim) of Penetanguishene, Gail (Robert) Lafond also of Penetanguishene, and James (Silvia) of Toronto. Dear grandfather of 19 grandchildren. Survived by his sister Sharon (Wayne) Charron of Newmarket. Private family arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551. David Nelson Phillips
(Long time Technician at Elcan)
passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 23, 2011 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Penetanguishene, in his 57th year after a courageous battle with cancer. David Phillips, of Midland, beloved son of Marion and the late Thomas Phillips; dear brother of Linda (Bill) McCuaig of Penetanguishene, Lillian Denis of Midland, Brian (Cheryl) of Wyebridge, and Stephen (Cathy) of British Columbia. David will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews Darryl, Scott, Lisa, Paula, Jonathan, Jason, Abbey, Cameron, Jamie, and Meghan, and many extended family and friends. Family and friends will be received at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Monday from 7 – 9 PM and on Tuesday November 29, 2011 fro 11 o’clock until the time of Funeral Service celebrated in the chapel at 12 noon. Panagiotis "Peter" Bilissis
(Employed by CN Rail for over 25 years) Passed suddenly in Montreal on Saturday May 22, 2010 in his 55th year. Peter, predeceased by his father Costas, loving son of Dimitra, will be sadly missed by his brothers John, Chris, Elie (Athena), and Nick, and by his sisters Chrisoula (Aleko) Kapsali, Toni (Peter) Marinakos, Penny (Mike) Passarelli, and Gina (Doug) Betts, and will be lovingly remembered by his 26 nieces and nephews, and many Aunts and Uncles. The family will Receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Monday May 31, 2010 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. with prayer service at 8p.m.. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul’s United Church on Tuesday at 11 o’clock. It is with heartfelt sorrow that Brian Widdes and his wife Karen of British Columbia and Marilyn Theriault of Geraldton announce the passing of their mother Doris Widdess (nee McConnell) on Saturday November 5, 2011 at Geraldton District Hospital, Geraldton, in her 91st year. Doris Widdess of Midland, beloved wife of the late Lloyd Widdess. Lovingly remembered by 3 grandchildren Meagan Theriault, Douglas Widdes (Crystal), and Jason Widdes (Amanda); and her 3 great grand children Benjamin, Isabelle, and Abbygale. The family wish to express their gratitude to all family and friends for their help and support. Suddenly at the Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Monday October 31, 2011 at the age of 46. Ray Emby of Bradford, dear partner of Jenell Paterson. Will be sadly missed by his children Sarah, Ashley & Ryan and their mother Jennifer of Newmarket. Beloved son of Gail & the late Carl Emby of Orillia. Brother of Kevin Emby. passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 1, 2011 at the Hillcrest Village Nursing Home, Midland, in her 89th year. Dorothy McMann, of Midland, beloved wife of the late Ken McMann. Survived by her brother Ronald Bugg many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces nephews extended family and friends; predeceased by her son John and by her brothers Lloyd, Garnet, and Leslie. Peacefully in his sleep at the Leisureworld Care Giving Centre, Orillia on Friday October 28, 2011 at the age of 74. David Langman of Orillia, beloved husband of Pat Langman. Passed peacefully with her family by her side at Trillium Nursing Home in Orillia on Monday October 3, 2011 in her 93rd year. Frances, predeceased by her husband Donald, will be sadly missed by her daughter Betty (Wayne) Edginton, by her grandchildren Shelly (Chuck), Steven (Debbie), and Sean (Stephanie), by her great grandchildren Matthew, Brandon, Blake, Olivia, Shannon, Hannah, and Anderson, and by her brother Guy Lee and her sister Marguerite Miller. Evelyn Hazel Agnes Price (Nee Morrison)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Evelyn. She passed peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday October 18, 2011; at the age of 77. Evelyn Price of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Roland Price. Loving mother of Sharen Tibensky (Jan predeceased) of Orillia, Dale Price (Barb) of Oshawa, Tony Katarynych (Annette), of Orillia, Cindy O’Donovan (Pat) of Brampton, Vince Price (Erin) and Laurie Burke (Paul) all of Orillia. Much loved by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Edna Wilson of Beaverton and predeceased by her siblings Eileen Dwinnell, Orville, Joseph and Harvey Morrison. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held at Tudhope Manor, 127 Peter St. N., Orillia, on Sunday, November 20, 2011, from 2-4 P.M.
