Elleanor Blanche Miller (Nee Minaker)
Entered into rest on Sunday October 9, 2011 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, in her 80th year. Blanche Miller, of Midland, beloved wife of the late Frederick Clark Miller; loving mother of Lisa and her husband Orville, and Wendy. Cherished grandmother of Nathan, Brittany, and Steve, Bethany and her husband Zach, Tiffany and Emily; great grandmother of Noah and Vincent. Lovingly remembered by her sister Patsy and her husband Larry, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Annie Minaker, and sisters Audrey Vick and Grayce Dart. Family and friends will be received at Calvary Baptist Church, 598 King Street Midland, on Saturday October 15, from 9 o’clock until the time of funeral service at 11 o’clock. Internment will follow at Ingoldsby Pioneer cemetery , Ingoldsby. Memorial donations to the Cardiac Care Unit of Southlake Regional Health Centre, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family if desired.

Florence Celia Burnett (Nee Coburn)
With Loving family at her side in her 95th year, Florence was peacefully taken to be with her Lord on Saturday October 1, 2011. Dear wife of the late William (Edward) Burnett. Beloved mother of Eileen Robertson & the late Vernon, Jean Howey & the late Donald, Donald Burnett & the late Shirley all of Orillia, Margaret Handy & husband George of Hamilton and Larry Burnett & wife Holly of London. Cherished and proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Charles Coburn of Orillia and predeceased by siblings Robert, Myrtle, Viola, Norman and Mary. Florence will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Florence will be remembered as a life-long member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was so special to her many grandchildren, they send their thankfulness for her love, her life lessons and unwavering support through prayer. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 5, 2011 at the Bethel Baptist Church, 300 Coldwater Rd. W., Orillia, at 1 o’clock. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s St. James’ cemetery , Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Child Evangelism Organization or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Mildred Ruth Evans
passed away peacefully on Thursday September 29, 2011 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, in her 83rd year. Ruth Evans, of Victoria Harbour, beloved wife of the late Edmond Bruce Evans; loving mother of Ron (Edna) Evans of Oshawa, Pat (Steve) Curry of Waterloo, and Brad and Steven Evans at home. Dear grandmother of Suzanne and Jennifer Curry. Survived by her sisters Mary (Ken) Huntley of Sunderland, and Grace (Bob) Kent of Scarborough, and her brother Bill (Eleanor) Locke of Whitby. Ruth will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family and friends will be received at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Monday from 4 – 8 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated in the chapel on Tuesday October 4, 2011 at 1 o’clock. Internment will follow at Vasey United cemetery. Lorna "Betty" Elizabeth Levack (Nee Burrison)
passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 28, 2011 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Penetanguishene, in her 82nd year. Betty Levack, of Wyevale, beloved wife of the late Norman Levack, loving mother of Norman (Jill) of Midland, Peter (Jean) of Elliott Lake, Robert (Esther) of Midland, Michael (Pat) of Penetanguishene, Howard (Cathy) of Midland, Earl of Wyevale, Harold (Andra) of Manitoba, Kathleen (Don) Cox of Penetanguishene, Judy (Mark) of Nova Scotia and Michael Malloy of Midland. Will be sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter Luanne. Private family service was entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551. Memorial donation to the Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family if desired.

Eric Joseph Pendleton
Suddenly at his home in Orillia on Sunday September 25, 2011, at the age of 81. Eric Pendleton, beloved son of the late Anne & William Pendleton. Loving brother of Ken Pendleton & his wife Margaret. Loved Uncle of Judith & husband Phil, Caroline & husband Dave, Craig & wife Allison, Julian & wife Jeanette all of England. Eric will be sadly missed by his extended family in Canada of Pat and the late John Toner, Anne, Jonathan and wife Christina, Malcolm & wife Mary-Ann and many grand nieces and nephews. Dear grandmother of Savanah Duggan, Thomas Zahrebelny, and Jennifer Zahrebelny. Sister of Brian (Colleen) Bergie, Bonnie (Terry) Moreau, Beverley (Jean) Desrochers, Barry (Sheryl) Bergie, Betty (Leonard) Belanger, and the late Billy Bergie; sister-in-law of Lori Lechapelle. Barbara will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Loving mother of Alla Hirsch and her partner William Bailey of Orr Lake and Dora Pender and her husband Jason of Wyebridge; dear grandmother of Solomon and Liam Pender. Survived by her sister Ada (Nick) Gladkoff of Toronto; Nina will be sadly missed by nieces Irene Wyse, Galina Gladkoff, Olga Gregoriew, and Twila Tardif. Predeceased by her brother George Kay.
