Garry Mathew Wreggitt
The death occurred peceafully at Algonquin Grace Hospice, Huntsville on Friday, April 7, 2017 of Garry Wreggitt of Huntsville.

Beloved husband of Jackie Wreggitt (nee Young) and dear father of Jeremy (Magella). Loving brother of Sandy (Tom Hammond), Betty-Anne (Ken McDonald), Pauline (Pat St. Louis) and Dale Wreggitt (Bonnie).

At Garry's request, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Algonquin Grace Hospice, would be appreciated by the family.

Marc Michel Colvin
The death of Marc Colvin occurred peacefully in Calgary Alberta, on Thursday, November 17, 2016

Treasured son to Jeannine Colvin and the late Bill Colvin; brother to Bill and Jamie (Jenn), loving husband to Julie, beloved father to Emma and William, and loving uncle to Cody, Brittany, Kate, Sara and Ava.

Marc grew up in Huntsville where he was a great athlete. He played Junior A hockey for the Orillia Travelways, then went on to play NCAA hockey on a scholarship at Michigan Tech University, putting much of that expertise to use helping to coach his son’s hockey team in New Liskeard, Ontario, for several years. Marc also enjoyed golf and fishing, but most especially, his family.

Marc was taken too soon. He passed peacefully with his wife and children by his side after bravely facing the immense challenges of ALS.

Today, we mourn this tremendous loss for our family, but more importantly, we celebrate and honor the privilege to have had such a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. Marc will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

A Funeral Mass will be held in Marc’s hometown of Huntsville, Ontario, at Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 12 Centre Street North, Huntsville - Saturday, Nov. 26th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. - followed by a reception at the same church. Light snacks and refreshments will be available.

It would be appreciated by the family for donations to be made to the ALS society, in lieu of flowers.

Margaret Ruth McLean
Marg McLean of Huntsville suffered a stroke on Saturday, December 10, 2016. She received excellent care from Muskoka Paramedics, Huntsville and from the staff of Huntsville Hospital in the E.R. and I.C.U., but the damage was irreparable and she died on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 2 p.m.

Marg leaves three daughters; Sharon, Brenda and Lisa, four grandchildren and her husband John.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Addison Chapel of the Mitchell Funeral Home on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow at the funeral home.

Eva Adeline Leverman
The death occurred at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 of Eva Leverman. Beloved wife of the late Bert Leverman and mother of Marie and Anne.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 12 Centre Street, North Huntsville on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the church hall.

Margaret Louise Hoyle
Margaret Louise Hoyle (Gaddye) passed away suddenly June 9, 2017 at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital. Wife of the late John Hoyle.

Dear mother of Bill Hoyle (Nancy), Debbie Hoyle (Agnew), predeceased son Randy Hoyle (surviving wife Norma), predeceased son John Hoyle (surviving wife Dianne).

Grandchildren Roxane Hoyle (Keven), Reggie Hoyle, Amy Hoyle (Roger), Jamie Hoyle (Ashley), David Hoyle (Kim), and Michelle Halstead.

She also leaves behind Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.

Phillip Earl Bailey
Phillip (Phil) Bailey born August 21, 1923, 93 years of age, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Fairvern Nursing Home, Huntsville.

Survived by his wife Ruth, step children Mark, Kathy (Jim), Michael (Kathy), John (Agnes), 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandsons, sister Marie Phippen and brother Ken (Gerrie) Bailey, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Phil was a loving, generous and kind gentleman with a great sense of humour.

Predeceased by his parents Charlotte and Alexander, brothers Allen (Kay), Harold (Wilma) and sister Shirley (Elliott Black), and Brother in law Harold Phippen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion (lower level), 21 Veteran’s Way, Huntsville on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm with a Legion Service commencing at 2:15pm. Refreshments to follow.

A special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Fairvern Nursing Home for their care and dedication.

If desired, donations to Fairvern Nursing Home or The Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated.

Fred Swann
SWANN, Frederic Stephen, June 15, 1925 - May 4, 2017 of Huntsville, passed very peacefully from old age at The Gardens Of Qualicum Beach, B.C. Husband to first wife Marjorie (Kilty), and second wife Helen (Booth). Father of Christopher, Peter, Robert, Andrea, Eric, and Stepfather of James Booth. Grandfather of Robert, Jai, Levi, Brock, Thea, Caden, Richard, Angelina, Emily and Brett. Fred participated in both the Atlantic and Pacific of the Second W.W. and was a very easy going friendly man. He enjoyed the outdoors, and was a very successful businessman who spent many years at Valley City mfg. in Dundas. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 1p.m.

Interment to follow at Locks Cemetery, Huntsville.

Leonard Granville Vanclieaf
The death occurred at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge on Friday April 21, 2017 of Mr. Leonard Vanclieaf of Baysville

Beloved husband of Shirley. Dear father of Garth of Bracebridge. Loving grandfather of Daniel and David

A Memorial Service for Mr. Vanclieaf will be held in Baysville at a later date to be announced.

In desired, donations to The Alzheimer Society of Muskoka would be appreciated.

Teresa Mary McCallum
Beloved wife of the late Frederick Gordon McCallum. Adored mother of Elizabeth McCallum (Derough Shoupe) of Emsdale, ON, Barb Elliott (Chris) of Port Sydney, ON and Fred McCallum of Kitchener, ON. Loving grandmother of Hillary Elliott of Toronto, ON.

Teresa was the last surviving child of the late Mr. & Mrs. James O'Brien. She grew up on the O'Brien family farm on Allumette Island, Quebec surrounded by her wonderful siblings Virtue, Ivy, Stella, Rita, Joy, Clare, Earl, Nelson, Ray and Justin. Mother was the privileged one to get to know and enjoy time with her many nieces and nephews.

Mother loved her yearly move to the cottage and enjoyed watching all types of wildlife on the Ottawa River. Each Labor Day weekend she would sit on the shore listening to the old time fiddling music carry across the river from Pembroke. She will be forever remembered for her sweet smile and laugh.

Family and friends are invited to Mitchell Funeral Home on April 23rd, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. for an informal gathering.

Funeral Mass will be held June 10th, 2017 11:00 am @ St. Joseph Parish, 7 St. Joseph St., Chapeau, Quebec. Reception to follow @ The River Club, 7243 Hwy 148 Chapeau, Quebec.

Thomas Gregg Jeffrey Remmelgas
Gregg Remmelgas passed away on Wednesday, April 26th, 2017 at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital with family at his side.

Gregg was a hard-working man who was dedicated to his family and friends. His gentle patient nature was like no other. His children and grandchildren were his world. He shared a special bond with each and every one of them. To his family, he was the rock we could all count on.

He is loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He will forever be remembered as,

Devoted father of; Jeff, Andrea(Ryan), Samantha(Alan) and Shawn

Loving poppa of; Kylie, Luca, Jace, Deegan, Alissa and Alayja
