David Charles Barton
The death occurred peacefully on August 16, 2011 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital of David Barton, in his 76th year.
Born in North York, Ontario to Harold and Gladys Barton. Predeceased by his first wife Jean Audrey Barton. Survived by his wife Grace Farley-Barton. His children Hal Barton (Sue), Cathie Wood (Victor), Wendy Farley-Weary (Jeff) and Steve Farley (Jennifer). His grandchildren Blake, Carina, Caroline, Elizabeth, Elizabeth Jean, Alex and his sister, Jean Tench.
A Celebration of David's life will take place at Riverside Baptist Church, 11 Riverside Drive (at Brunel Road), Huntsville on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 2 o'clock. Visitation will be held at the church from 12 noon to 2 p.m.

Kate Santos-Echlin
Kate Santos-Echlin, 56, mother and artist, remembered as creative, eccentric, loving, spiritual, brave and strong. Kate died at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on the afternoon of August 14th, 2011, of cancer.
She was born on January 26th, 1955 in Toronto, Ontario to Jose Santos-Perez and Claire-Anne Echlin-Santos, the oldest of seven children. She was educated at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, as a veterinary doctor, and the University of Toronto as a medical illustrator. Kate worked as an artist for most of her life. She was a significant contributor to the Muskoka artistic community.
She is survived by her husband Drew Hutcheson, children George and Bea, mother Claire-Anne, and siblings Joseph, Paul, Eric, Magdalena, Margaret and Ana Maria, and predeceased by her father Jose.
The funeral service will take place on Friday, August 19th, 2011 at Trinity United Church, Huntsville at 11 a.m., officiated by Reverend Derek Shelly, reception following. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice Huntsville. At the funeral, traditional or bright and joyous colours will be welcomed and encouraged.
Theresia Mueller
Theresia Mueller (Stubenvol) passed away on Aug. 9, 2011 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital at the age of 79.
Theresia was born on Aug. 18, 1931 in Sopron, Hungary. Shemarried
Heinrich (Henry) Mueller on June 26, 1953 in Heidelberg, Germany.
Dear mother of Brigitte (Juergen) Seipt, Toronto; Doris (David) Dann, Burk’s Falls; and predeceased by daughter Edith (Gerry) Earl, Huntsville.
Loving grandmother of Christie, Rene, Andrea, Tammy, Andrew and Clayton. Theresia is survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Sister of Ludwig (Elaine) Stubenvoll of Ponoka, Alberta. Predeceased by brothers Michael, Karl, Hans, Ferdinand, and by sisters Sophie and Karola.
At the request of Theresia, no funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place.

Frances Clare Jones
June 18th, 1923 - October 14th, 2011
Peacefully at her home 'Windsong' on Fairy Lake Huntsville, Friday October 14th at the well-lived age of 88 years, surrounded by family. Survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ralph, and children Donald and Frances, Robert and Paula, Elizabeth and Arduino, and Margy. Predeceased by daughter Mary Frances, brothers Ted and Don Johnson, sisters Peggy Hobart, Jane Johnson, Anne Stanton and Clare Broadbent. Loving Granny to Hillary, Rosalind, Ginny and Stefan. Great-Granny to Nolan and new baby girl this November. Missed by furry friends Mozart and Chopin.
Frances worked at General Motors in Oshawa in the tabulating department during wartime and until her marriage in 1948. Over her lifetime Frances was very active as a volunteer in Oshawa. She began her political career with the Liberal Party at age 17 led by her mother, Anne Johnson. In 1963 she was the first female candidate for the Liberals in her riding.
Frances had a vast portfolio of volunteerism including Girl Guide leader for 7 years, YWCA member 30 years, Served on parish, regional and archdiocesan executives of Catholic Women's League; Board member of Oshawa Housing Authority for 9 years, Past Regent of Golden Jubilee Chapter of the IODE including Citizenship Secretary for over 20 years. This is the role she loved the most as she welcomed approximately 50,000 new citizens with her warm smile and inspirational greetings. She was Oshawa mayor's appointed representative for nine years on Oshawa Housing Authority board of directors, serving as Chairman, administering hundreds of housing units; Volunteer driver for ODACL before Handi-Transit; President of Robert McLaughlin Art Gallery Board of Trustees, during expansion into a beautiful new building; Board of Directors of local Red Cross and YWCA;
Frances received numerous awards for her dedication to community life including YMCA Woman of Distinction, Outstanding volunteer for the Liberal Party (Ontario), and was honoured by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, becoming one of 20 Canadians to receive the Canadian Citation for Citizenship 2003.
Skiing, swimming for hours, a challenging bridge game, playing solitaire, birdwatching, numerous dogs and cats, dancing, chocolate hidden around the house, and dinners with family and friends were also a large part of Frances' journey and sharing with others was important to her. She enjoyed moving to Huntsville in 2005 and made many new friends.
Despite her numerous health and personal challenges Frances accepted them with dignity and strength. She will forever be an inspiration to all who loved her.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Frances' love of life will be held Saturday October 29th from 1:30 until 4:30, Hidden Valley Highlands Muskoka Ski Club, 1655 Hidden Valley Road, Huntsville. If desired Memorial Donations in memory of Frances to Huntsville Community Living or Oshawa Clarington Association for Community Living would be greatly appreciated.

Pansy Janet Kerr
Pansy Kerr went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at the age of 91. Pansy was predeceased by her husband, Bruce Kerr. She will be lovingly remembered by her five children; Lynda (Roger) Irwin, Dan (Jo Ann) Kerr, David (Lois) Kerr, Ruth (Paul) Felhaber, Mary (Len) Stacey and cherished by her ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Pansy was born on July 5, 1920 to Mabel and Abram Edwards. She grew up in Curries, Ontario and raised her family in Woodstock, Ontario. Pansy and Bruce moved to Huntsville, Ontario in 1972.
As a devoted follower of Jesus, she worshipped at several churches throughout her life. Pansy supported and gave generously to numerous mission organizations both at home and abroad. She was a talented seamstress and also enjoyed quilting and knitting, lending her talents to Muskoka Knitters for Global Warmth.
There will be a memorial service held for Pansy at Faith Baptist Church, 169 West Road, Huntsvile on Saturday, October 15th, 2011 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Gideons International in Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated and may be made by contacting the funeral home at 705 789-5252.
Patricia Sisco
The death occurred peacefully at Muskoka Landing, Huntsville on Friday, October 21, 2011 of Pat Sisco in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Norman Sisco. Dear mother of Gordon (Sally) of Huntsville, Peter (Connie) of Florida and the late Alan and David. Grandmother of Craig, Paul, Matthew, Nicole, Alex, Greg, Jeff and Andrew. Great-grandmother of five.

Lecily Hutcheson
Lecily Constance Hutcheson (nee White) died peacefully on November 25, 2012 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital after a long struggle with ill health.
She is predeceased by her first husband Dr. Ken Johnston, and will be deeply missed by their four children, Christine Schumacher, Laura Johnston, Kirk Johnston (Lisa Parrott), and Brian (Colleen) Johnston, as well as her six grandchildren (Laura, John, Emily, Chantalle, Katherine, and Leah) and one great-granddaughter (Kianna). Lecily is also predeceased by her second husband Bazett Hutcheson, as well as her sister and brother-in-law Eleanor and Alex Breuls. She is survived by her brother Richard White and his wife Jenny.
Lecily was born June 27, 1926 in Toronto to Orville and Grace White. She graduated from Victoria College in 1949 with a degree in Household Economics, and the next year moved to Huntsville as a young bride. She was active in her community as a member of United Church Women (UCW) at Trinity United Church in her early years in Huntsville. She was also involved with CGIT, had been a member of the hospital auxiliary, and taught Family Studies and English at Huntsville High School from 1971 to 1986. Her many interests included gardening, playing bridge, sewing, travel, reading, weekly coffee with her very good friends, and the pleasures of her book club. Music was an important part of her life – Lecily was one of the founding and long-time (1959 to 2008) members of the Muskoka District Band, for which she played clarinet. Lecily greatly enjoyed hosting and entertaining others; she enjoyed preparing wonderful meals and engaging in probing commentary and conversations on the state of the world. She loved to spend her summers at Bella Lake.
Visitation for Lecily Hutcheson will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 3 to 6 p.m.
A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Trinity United Church, Huntsville at 1 p.m.
