At home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Wallace William Hope of Alexandria; age 48 years. Beloved son of Wallace Hope and Helen Hope (nee Rutley) of Alexandria. Dear brother of John Hope (Julie) of Alexandria. Cherished uncle of Amanda, Olivia, and Sarah Hope. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 2-5 pm and 7- 10 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until 9:30 am. Funeral Service will be held in the Alexandria United Church (Church on the Hill) on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10 am. Interment will follow in the Alexandria United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Alexandria United Church would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Wally a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. At home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. John James Leonard MacKay of Alexandria; age 59 years. Beloved father of Chantel Saucier (Richard) of Green Valley and James MacKay (Sandra) of Airdrie, Alberta. Former spouse of Gail MacKay. Dear brother of Donald MacKay of Glen Robertson, Neil MacKay (Heather) of Alexandria, Mary Shaw (Michael) of Gananoque, and Isabelle MacKay, Marguerite MacKay, Allan MacKay (Yvonne), and Belle Robidoux all of Cornwall. Predeceased by three sisters Joan Martin, Anne Levac and Frances MacKay. Dear son of the late Robert MacKay and the late Helen MacLennan. Cherished grandfather of Christian, Andrew, Matthew and Meagan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Monday, July 30, 2012. Johanna (Honey) Heinsma (nee Tjalsma) of Long Sault, formerly of Maxville; age 92 years. Predceased by her husband George in 1989. She leaves her son Stan (Brenda) ofNova Scotia, Renske Harthold (Tom) of Cornwall, Jerry (Lynda) of Dunvegan, Diety McBrearty (Dennis) of British Columbia, and Betty Ann Hughes (John) of Thunder Bay. She is survived by her sister Antje Visser (Wiebern) of Holland. She is also survived by her grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church 2264 Pitt St., Cornwall, Ontario at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Baldwin House, 40 Fourth St. Cornwall, Ontario would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville.

Dear grandfather of Denise (Eddie), Raymond (Angela), James (Jeanine), David (Amanda), and Steven. Dear great-grandfather of Tristan, Liam, Hayden, Marshal, Colin, Isaac, Amelia and Rachel. Fondly remembered by his brother William Munro (Edith) of Sharbot Lake and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Christina (Stewart) Munro, his brothers Bob, John and James Munro and by his sisters Jeannie Roberts and Janet Simpson and most preciously his son Harris and his granddaughter Janna Munro Bovin. Theresa Rock

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Theresa Rock (nee Kudla) of Lancaster at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of Raymond Rock. Loving mother of the late Allan Rock and the late Kenneth Rock. Theresa will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Theresa was the greatest asset Raymond had during his 10 years as a Federal Member of Parliament. Later when they opened Lancaster Park, Theresa was the extraordinary diplomat and calming force when dealing with the many challenges of their business. The family wishes to thank the staff at Chateau Gardens nursing home for their excellent care of Theresa in her final days. Margaret Bateman

It is with profound sadness that the children Margaret (Danny), Scott, and Cynthia and the grandchildren Camryn, Katelyn, and Timmothy announce the passing of their cherished and much loved "Mom" and "Nan" at the Cornwall Community Hospital on July 18th, 2012. Margaret, also known better as "Peggy" was born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland and was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs Walter Scott. She moved with her family to Montreal and graduated from the Montreal General School of Nursing in January 1950. She was working in the emergency department where she met her future husband Peter and they married March 25th, 1950. They would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary last March 2012. Peggy retired from nursing and with Peter spent many winters in Venezuela and summers in St. Aldolph de Howard. She will be truly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and nursing colleagues. She was a great lady with a heart of gold. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 2-5 pm. At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, July 15, 2012. Walter Pullin Muir of Maxville; passed away at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Edith Joyce Muir (nee Stacey). Loving father of William Walter (Angela), Edwin Harry (Kathleen) and Cheryl Latimer (Ron). Dear brother of Helen Forsyth (the late Edward), the late William (the late Mary), the late Samuel (the late Jessie) and the late Norman (Carol). Predeceased by his parents the late Samuel Muir and the late Jessie Pullin. Proud grandfather of Jarred W. Muir (Marlena), Daniel J. Muir (Natalie Hughes), Matthew Latimer (Ali) and Jessica Latimer.
