September 10, 1910 - November 01, 2007

CANDELORO, Giuseppe - Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday, November 1, 2007, in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Margherita (nee Contestabile). Loving father and father-in-law to Gaetano Biagio-Nino and Maria Candeloro. Predeceased by his daughters Anna, Antonietta and Rita. Loving grandpa of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Giovani and Maria Candeloro, Domenico and Ninetta Candeloro, Nunziatina and the late Vincenzo D'Aurora in Italy and the late Rosaria and Michele Ferrelli. Survived by nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and the United States. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8pm Sunday. Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, November 5, 2007 at St. Anthony's Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Giuseppe "Joe" Magliaro
April 04, 1924 - October 28, 2007

MAGLIARO, Giuseppe - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Giuseppe on Sunday, October 28, 2007, at the age of 83. Joe was born in Serra di Pratola (Avellino). He was a loving husband and father and is deeply mourned by Anna (nee Collela), his wife of 62 years, son Ralph (Aileen), Tony (Misty), Luigi (Diva) of Italy and Nino (Elena) of Italy. Devoted Nonno of Ava, Ciara, Anthony, Emanuela, Andrea, Alessia, Daniella, Andrea and Giuseppe. Survived by sister Maria and brother Giovanni. Sadly missed by family and friends in Canada and Italy. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. If desired, donations to St. Patrick's Heritage Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Joseph's Hospital on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Lina. Predeceased by his beloved son Michael. Son of the late Michele and the late Maria Greco.Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Petro Saltarelli, the late Joe Greco and his wife Nina, the late Velia and her husband the late Mike Dalonzo, Gilda and her husband Mike Pietronero of France, Danny Greco and his wife Anna, the late Nella and her husband the late Domenic Montanaro, the late Ida and her husband Amilcare Vitantonio. Zio Nick will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Maria Natale, Michelle and Americo Ianucci, Maria and Domenic Di Saverio, Anthony and Sandra Greco, Joe and Toni Vitantonio, Marco Greco, and Mario Vitantonio and his fianc ee Vicky and their families. Remembered by numerous friends. Nick's family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital and his many friends for the care and compassion shown to Nick and his family. Francesca Varrasso (née Rosatone)
July 12, 1955 - October 23, 2007

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Francesca, on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, in her 52nd year. Beloved wife of the late Daniele. Precious mother of Antonio and Daniela. Cherished daughter of Antonietta and the late Donato Rosatone. Loved sister of Anna. Dearest sister-in-law of Lydia and the late Gianfranco Varrasso. Admired aunt of Riccardo, Cynthia and Melissa. She will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends living in Canada, Italy, Australia, USA and Argentina. Francesca touched the hearts of many with her thoughtful nature and generosity. Her beautiful smile and contagious laughter will always be remembered. Francesca's love for life was an inspiration for all who were blessed to have known her. Resting at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, 43 Barton Street East (near James). Visitation Thursday, October 25th, 5-9 p.m. and Friday, October 26th, 5-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, Highway 8, Stoney Creek, with Interment to follow at Mountainview Cemetery. We know that you are finally with Pa now and that you are both looking down on us, guiding us in everything that we do. What can you say to someone who has been one of the most essential parts of your world; someone who took you by the hand when you were little and helped show you the way... Rosa Tracz (née Ambrosio)
March 04, 1938 - October 22, 2007

In keeping with her request that she remain at her residence surrounded by close loving family with whom she lived her life, Rosa suddenly and courageously passed away on Monday, October 22, 2007, at age 69. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Peter Tracz, her daughter Mary Jeffries, her son Michael Tracz and son-in-law Keith Jeffries. Nonna to Michael Tracz Jr., Kaitlyn Jeffries and John Jeffries. Loving Zia of Sam Pasquini, Teresa Pasquini and Cathy Kohler. Sadly missed by many relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Heartfelt thanks to her physicians Dr. Barbara Teal, Dr. Witt Sullivan, Dr. Hugh Sullivan, Dr. Andre Lamy, Dr. Nancy Dzaja, Dr. Jamil Kanji, Dr. Martin O'Donnell and Mariola Simonelli RN, including all support staff at McMaster and General Hospitals, Bayshore Home Health and CCAC. Dearly loved wife of Nicolo Esposto. Loving mother of Carmelo and Diana; John and Jill; Angelo and Sandra; and Vince and Leeann. Loving Nonna of Lisa, Nicholas, Nicholas, Joey, Nicholas, Matthew, Lina and Nicolo. Predeceased by a sister Francesca and brothers Calogero and Angelo. Survived by a sister, Angela, in Racalmuto. Loving mother of Carmela and the late Rosario LaMantia, Sally and Bill Fitzpatrick, Jenny and Peter Cerino, Angie and Angelo Farrauto and Sam and Kathryn Farrauto. Cherished nonna of Elia, Sandra, Lisa, David, Natalie, Michael, Joseph, Vincent, Angelo, Vincent, Vincent, Sammy and Benjamin. Proud great nonna of Luca. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Carmela and the late Rocco Messina, Salvatore and Teresa Matteliano, Nicolo and Pina Matteliano, the late Calogero and Vincenza Matteliano, Josie and Carmelo Unelli and Vince and Tina Matteliano.
