April 01, 1911 - April 11, 2006

Peacefully, at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, April 11, 2006, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Angelo. Dear mother of Camilla (Leon) Savoldelli, Lorenzo (Nicolina) Mattina, Sue (Sirio) Venturelli. Adored Nonna of Mark Biczak, Kristi (Joseph) Olejnik, Angelo (Debbie) Mattina, Lea, Dan and Richard Venturelli, all of Hamilton; Joseph, Assunta and Angelina and their families, all of Belgium. Santa will be sadly missed by the Liota and Farrauto families of Canada, Italy and Belgium. A special thank you to the staff of Pine Villa Nursing Home for their care and compassion. CARICATO, Antonino (Tony) - Suddenly at St. Joseph's Hospital with his family at his side on Monday, August 7, 2006. Tony Caricato in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Maria. Loved father of Massimo and his wife Carmen, John and his wife Deanna, and Paola. Dear Nonno of Stephen, Anthony, Emily, Olivia, Eric and Daniella. Angelina Ranalletta
September 28, 2005 - August 03, 2006

RANALLETTA (nee Stoneburgh), Angelina Madeleine Linda - Baby Angelina, born September 28, 2005, passed peacefully into the loving hands of Our Lord Jesus, while being cradled in the adoring arms of her Mama and Papa (Ercole and Tracey), on Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at 10:15 a.m. at McMaster Children's Hospital, as a result of chronic heart and lung disease. Angelina was the very treasured baby sister of MacKenzie, Daniel and Ercole Jr., she will forever live in their hearts. Mourning the loss of their beloved, only granddaughter are Thomas and Madeleine Stoneburgh of Burlington. Angelina will be greatly missed by Uncle Tom and Aunt Allison, and cousins Owen and Ethan of Burlington, Uncle Mark in Tokyo, Japan, Zio Gabriel Ranalletta (Debbie) and Zio Frank Ranalletta (Anna) and cousins Celina and Roman. Waiting to spoil Angelina in Heaven are Nonno and Nonna Ranalletta. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be offered at All Souls Church on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. PIETRANTONIO, Giovanni (John) - Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Friday, July 28, 2006, in his 58th year. Beloved son of Annamaria and the late Michele Pietrantonio. Very dear brother and brother-in-law of Vince and Anna Pietrantonio. Very dear, loved uncle of Anna Marie, Michael, Melissa and great-uncle of Carina and Nicholas. Survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the following people, Dr. Russell and his team, the Renal Transplant Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital. A special thanks to Dr. Gangji for his support and to Dr. Arlen for her care over the years. A special thank you to Nelly VanBergeyk of Bayshore Home Health, the staff at C.C.A.C., Brigette Hill at St. Joe's Home Care and the staff at C.N.I.B. Guerino Nicoletti
April 26, 1923 - August 03, 2006

God whispered, "My child, you've had enough, come with Me, your work is done." And with that, Guerino Nicoletti, in his 84th year, peacefully passed away Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Pine Villa Nursing Home, Stoney Creek, Ontario. Guerino has gone to be reunited with his beloved wife the late Sestina. He will be dearly missed by his two sons and their families. Dear father and father-in-law of Rosario and Sheila, Vince and Teresa and cherished Nonno of Sestina, Daniel, Rita and Angelo Nicoletti. Dear brother-in-law of Rita and Luigi Nicoletti. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and France. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Pine Villa Nursing Home and West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for the care and support offered to Guerino during this difficult time, special thank you to Cindy, Irene and Rhonda from Pine Villa for their extra care and support. February 25, 1925 - August 16, 2006

Carmine passed away at Macassa Lodge, in his sleep after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, August 16, 2006, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Filomena for 56 years. Dear father of Angelo, Antonietta and her husband Mike Keller. Devoted son of the late Angelo and Maria Antonia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Maria and Nicola Bianco, Antonietta and the late Nicola Fiorillo, Diodorina and Rosario DePalma, Gerlando and the late Pasqualina Butera, Maria and Giovanni Costanzo, Erminia and Pasquale Grazi, Carmela and Donato Cirocco. Carmine was a retired employee of Stelco. The family would like to thank the staff at C1 West of Macassa for their compassion and diligence. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James), Friday 5-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Friday at 8:15 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday 10 a.m. at All Souls Church with entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. George Omorean
August 28, 1928 - August 12, 2006

George Omorean, born in Petrovasila, Banat, Yugoslavia on August 28, 1928, passed on to a life everlasting, gently and peacefully in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada, before dawn on August 12, 2006. A man of vision, creativity and strong will, George was a musician, a dancer, a farmer, a machinist, an inventor and a lover of life. He asked for little, though he gave so much to his family, friends, neighbours and strangers. Loving husband to Persa for over 60 years; wonderful father to John, Sophie, George, Leo and Tom; caring brother to Helen (Octavian) Zamfir; beloved father-in-law to Georgia Marinkov, Nick Ker cu, Heidi Greco and Klaude Omorean; grandfather to George Ker cu, Gina (Irinel) Petrovic, Nick Ker cu Jr.; great-grandfather to Blake, Christopher and Emily. Protective godfather to Cathy, Billy, Helen, Jonathon, Tom, Jeannie, Bobbie-Ann, Gina, Clifford, John, Ion and Ghita. He leaves us now by saying: "Do not weep for me, for I am not dead, I have fallen asleep in a place of rest, a place of peace, a place of green pastures where pain, sorrow and sighing are no more. You shall see me at the edge of the forest, where the deer frolic, the birds sing, and sun shines on the morning dew." Visitation will be at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Monday 6-9 p.m., Tuesday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be at Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church, 19 Murray Street, Hamilton Ontario, on Wednesday, August 16 at 10:30 a.m. with Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington Ontario. The Omorean, Ker cu and Zamfir families wish to acknowledge and thank the staff of Woodstock General Hospital and CCAC (especially Pat Metcalfe). We also thank our neighbours, Bi ta and Vasile Ioni ta for their ongoing care, support and love. Memorial donations in George Omorean's name to the Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church of Hamilton or to Woodstock General's New Hospital Fund would be welcomed.

MARQUES, Maria Odete (Tita) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Maria, on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, after a long and courageous battle of cancer, at the age of 37. Beloved daughter of Dolores and Luis Marques, sister and sister-in-law of Sandra and Jay Elliott, and loving aunt of Elisha. She will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
