Giulia Lorenzi (née Bernardi)
July 22, 1915 - March 29, 2006

LORENZI, Giulia - Peacefully at the Regina Gardens Nursing Home on Wednesday, March 29, 2006, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Luigi. Loving mother of the late Dr. Loreno Lorenzi and dear mother-in-law of Flaminia. Dear Nonna of Julia and Frederic, and David and loving Bisnonna of Steven and Alessia. Predeceased by her brother and four sisters in Italy. She will be sadly missed by Wendy, many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Italy. A special thanks to Dr. Emili, the nurses, the personal care providers, and the residents at the Regina Gardens Nursing Home. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Friday from 5-9 p.m. The Vigil Prayers will be on Friday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be at All Souls Church on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. PUGA de THOMPSON, Ma. Dolores - Peacefully at Clarion Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, May 1, 2006, at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Rae. Loving mother of Artemio and Irene Puga. Cherished grandmother of Aaron. Survived by her sister Teresa and predeceased by Felix, Boni, all of Mexico. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends especially Carlos, Donato, Amanda Hugo and their spouses. Special thanks to the Spanish Grupo Carismatico of All Souls and the Clarion Nursing Home for all their care and compassion, especially Veronica and Anna. John Rusznyak
March 24, 1937 - April 14, 2006

Rusznyak, John Peacefully in his sleep at St. Peter’s Hospital on Good Friday April 14, 2006 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Magdelena for 50 years. Loving father of Maggie & Gary Muir, Liz & David Rees, Eszter Rusznyak, Kathy Mac Donald and fiancé Gary Stackhouse. Cherished grandfather of Jeremiah, Gord, Melissa, Nicole, Julia, Seth, Matt, Amanda, Lavery, and Shelby. Dear brother of Elizabeth (John Banko), Maria Rusznyak, and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews in Hungary. John was a member of the Hungarian Club and St. Stephen’s Church. Special thanks to the Doctor’s and staff at St. Peter’s Hospital 3rd Floor and the VON nurses for all there kindness and compassion. Resting at FRISCO on Tuesday from 5-9 pm. Vigil prayers on Tuesday at 8pm Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Stephen’s Hungary Church on Wednesday at 10am. Interment to follow to Mount Hamilton Cemetery. Biagio Damiani
February 03, 1933 - April 10, 2006

Biagio Domenico (February 3, 1933 - April 10, 2006) passed away at the age of 73, after a long and courageous illness. Biagio will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Mina, only daughter Patricia, and son-in-law Michael Lamont. Also deeply saddened are his much-loved grandchildren Sabrina and Shannon Lamont. He will join in heaven his brother Francesco, father Pio, and mother Antonia. He is survived by his sister-in-law Giovanna Damiani and nieces Marianne Napoleone, Pia DiGiacinto and their families. He will be missed by many relatives in Italy: Ermelinda, Mirella, Claudio DiCarlo and their families. Biagio was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He worked many years at Dofasco, loved his hometown in Italy - Ripe - and in his younger years shared a passion for gardening, food, music, bocce, and best of all babysitting his cherished grandchildren Sabrina and Shannon. He will be missed by friends, neighbours and relatives, especially the DiCarlo family, with whom he spent many memorable events. "Dad, I love you and I already miss you immensely. You taught me many valuable lessons about life that no one else could - principles and the people that really matter. Most importantly, I wanted to thank you and Mom for raising me in a nurturing environment bursting with love. You took care of me, you encouraged me to do the best that I could do, and most importantly you loved me to your fullest capacity and then some. This makes you the best Dad, and I am deeply saddened that I can no longer share you in my life, but you will always be in my heart. I love you, Dad! This hurts too much. Till we meet again in heaven." Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Tuesday, April 11 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Rosary at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony's Church, 165 Prospect St. N. (west of Barton and Gage) in Hamilton, on Wednesday, April 12 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow.

BARKER, Bernard - Suddenly, while vacationing in Varadero, Cuba, on Friday, April 21, 2006, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Vera and the late Helen (MacKenzie). Loving father of Sharon Beck. Cherished grandfather of Shirley and Vince Saieva, Bernie and Monica Beck and great-grandfather of Amanda, Sabrina, Vincent, Marco, Savannah, Anthony, Dylan and Darren. Sadly missed by his sister Mary and many family and friends. Bernard was a War Veteran and a member of the Washago Seniors' Club in Orillia. Cherished Nonna of Tania, Kelly, Luke, Laura, Daniel and Rachel. She will be sadly missed and fondly remember by many relatives and friends. Special thanks to St. Joseph's Hospital for her care and the Doctor's and staff in IC.U. Thank you to the staff of Heritage Green Nursing Home for there care. Brother of Elsa and Arnoldo Greco, Dina and Antonio Melfi, Silvana and Jerry Margani, and the late Dea Di Leonardo. Brother-in-law of Sonia and Sam Campanella.
