IANNACE, Peter - Pete peacefully passed away at his home, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at the age of 48. The Iannace family wish to thank you for the love and kindness you have shared during Peter's illness and his recent death. Your many messages of support, which we were able to share with Peter, meant so much to him. Your expressions of sympathy have brought us all great comfort in this time of grief. Pete will never be truly gone as long as he lives in the hearts of those who loved him. We love you - waaaa!

passed away at his home, with his family at his side, on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. Vic Maran, at the age of 60. Loving father of Anna and her husband George Miklea. Dear grandpa of Victoria. Loved son of George and the late Sofia Maran. Survived by relatives in Canada, USA and Yugoslavia. Vic was an avid outdoor sportsman who loved camping, fishing and hunting. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Saturday and Sunday 4-9 p.m. Panachyda Sunday at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church on Monday, February 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. Prayers at Funeral Home 10:30 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.

Dear father of Vincenzo and his best friend Sheila and father-in-law of Antonietta. Adoring Nonno of Costantino, Angela (John), Mike, Lucy (Steve), Mario and Bisnonno of Michael, John, Steven and Alisha. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James), Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel on Monday, January 29, 2007 at 10 a.m. with entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Luciano DiFrancesco
September 19, 1928 - October 16, 2006

DiFRANCESCO, Luciano - In his 79th year, after a courageous struggle, Luciano DiFrancesco went to be with the Lord. He died peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Beloved husband of Angela. Loving father of Domenic and daughter-in-law Teresa, Maria and son-in-law Aldo. Nonno will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Nicholas, Cassandra, Analissa and Marc. Dear brother of Lucia and her late husband Edmondo Annibale. Dear brother-in-law of Carmela and the late Nicolo Milazzo, Pasqua and Giovanni Giglia, Giuseppina and Guido Daniele, Tanina and Francesco Rizzo, Giuseppe and Angela Manto and Alfonsa and Giancarlo Lauretani and their families. Luciano will be missed by numerous nephews, nieces and family, both here and Italy. Luciano's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Churchill, his staff and the Nephrology Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital. A special thank you to the Dialysis Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital for all their care and compassion. PUMA, Calogero (Charles) - Peacefully, at St. Joseph's Villa on Monday, January 15, 2007, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Agostina. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Concetta and the late Diego Caltagirone, Giuseppina and the late Pietro Puma, and the late Giuseppina Puma of Italy. Survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins in Canada and in Italy. A special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's Villa for all the care given to Charles. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Thursday from 5-9 p.m. The Vigil Prayers will be on Thursday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at St. Joseph's Church on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Dear grandmother of Fernando; Jose, Paulo; Deborah; Danny, Rui and Nuno. Peacefully at the Clarion Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family on Good Friday, April 14, 2006, in her 90th year. Loving wife of Antonio for 53 years. Beloved mother of Rosemary and Giacomo D'Angelo. Cherished Nonna of Ashley. Sister and sister-in-law of Ann and the late Merle Rogers, the late Charles Chiodo, the late Angeline and the late Henry Cuomo, the late Michael and the late Anne Chiodo, Assunta and the late Camillo DiBattista, Mary and the late Frank Palumbo. Sadly missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, family and friends in Canada and Italy. Special thank you to all the staff at Clarion Nursing Home for all their care and compassion. Dearly loved by his devoted wife of 54 years, Nazzarena (nee Carboni). Loved father of Umberto and his wife Louise and Massimo and his wife Angela. Dear brother of Vincenzo and Elvira Cedri, Giuseppina and the late Ernesto Catasta, all of Italy and the late Maria and Zenon Lomaco of Argentina. Dear brother-in-law of Vincenza and the late Alfredo Marini, Camillo and Litizia Carboni, Maria and Nazzareno Pignotti and the late Giuseppina and Giovanni Lanciotti, all from Italy. Also survived by nieces and nephews in Italy and Argentina. Special thank you to Dr. Anne Woods and the Kidney Dialysis Unit of St. Joseph's Hospital.
