At Ottawa on Wednesday June 28, 2006 in her 82nd year, Mary Camilla Gillies, daughter of the late John Angus Gillies and Catharine McGillis. Predeceased by her brother, Hugh of Ottawa and her sister, Anita Hannaway, of Vancouver. Survived by several nieces, grand-nieces and grand-nephews in British Columbia. Following cremation a Memorial Mass for the Dead will be held on Friday June 30, 2006 at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church (corner of Cartier Street and Somerset Street West). Burial will be held at a later date in the family plot at St. Finnan’s Cathedral in Alexandria, Ontario. Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be thoughtful.

Daughter of the late Heinrich-Magnus Lubbert and his wife Elsa Erna Anna Lubbert-Isensee of Germany. Dear sister of Anna-Luise Meyer ( nee Lubbert ) of California, Ilsa-Amalia Campeau ( nee Lubbert-Isensee ). Aunt of Rita Epperson of California, Robert Henry Magnus Campeau of Guelph, Ontario, Giselle Louise Campeau of France and Jean Paul Campeau of Toronto. Hilde a longtime real estate broker with Canada Trust, was also an avid hobby farmer, raising lambs and chickens in Stittsville, Ontario. Home at last! Marion Mackie went to be with her Saviour on Saturday, June 24. Her 95 years here were characterized by a selfless interest in others. Those she touched were enriched and encouraged. She leaves her sister Elizabeth Gowling, nieces and nephews including Margaret Butler (Dell), Rona Luhmann, John Gowling (Brenda), Win Hibbins (Stan), Art Gowling (Debbie), as well as extended family. She was much loved and will be missed by many, including friends and staff at New Orchard Lodge. There will be no visitation, by request. Dear beloved wife of Dr. Joseph Bruce Marshall (deceased) and sister of William "Bill" Robinson of Sudbury and Edward Robinson (deceased) of Calgary. Loving mother of her only daughter Susan Jane (deceased), four sons and their wives: Drs. Joseph Marshall and Cathy (Broughton) of Thornhill, Peter and Trish (Mullen) Marshall, Ian and Jean (MacGregor) Marshall and Keith Marshall and Claudette David, all of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren: Adam (Sarah Burrows), Alyssa and Erik of Toronto; Allison (Tyler Grieve) and Ginny also of Toronto; Sara and Heather of Ottawa and Michele and Emilie of Ottawa and David (Janelle Conlan) now also living in Toronto. Helen was born in Watrous, Saskatchewan on May 15, 1914. She received her B.A. from the University of Saskatchewan in 1934 where she first met her husband. As a gracious and loving wife of Bruce, she lived in Saskatoon and then in Ottawa with a brief and exciting interlude in London, England.
