Jean Genevieve Fairchild

Peacefully in her sleep, at her home, on Sunday, July 6, 2003. Dearest and best friend of spouse Anthony Scime. Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Magda (Nellie) Dyack, her brothers Stanley (Lillian) Dyack; John Dyack; her sister Helen (Alex) Smith. Survived by her dear brother Bronty Dyack, her sister Lillian (Patrick) Mancini and her dear mother Anna. Dearest and longtime friend of Joseph and Margaret Scime. Aunt Jean will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Stanislaus Church on Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 9 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum. Vigil Prayers Tuesday 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.

Antonio Tassone

Sadly at the Henderson Hospital, after a short illness, in his 56th year, on Tuesday, July 8, 2003. Beloved husband of Rosina (nee Mamone). Loving father and father-in-law of Rosemary and Pasquale Mamone and Susan. Loved by step-granddaughter Sabrina Mamone. Survived by his mother-in-law Maria Mamone. Predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Rosaria, and father-in-law Giuseppe Mamone. Brother and brothe-in-law to the late Ralph and the late Antonietta Tassone, Bruno and Augustina Tassone. Marianina and Giuseppe Yencho. Giuseppe and the late Antonietta Tassone, Rosario and Macculata Tassone, Pina and Bruno Danielle, Ross Mamone, Maria and Rino Bartolini, Raffaella and Brian Wolfe. Also loved by many aunts, uncles, nieces. nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.
Resting at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p-m. The Vigil Prayers will be on Thursday at 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Eugene's Church on Friday at 11 a.m. Entombment to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Maria da Conceicao Andrade

With great sadness the family of Maria da Conceicao Andrade announces her passing; a loving mother and Avo; on July 6, 2003, in her 78th year. Predeceased by her husband Manuel. Loving mother of Jose and Merces, Maria and Surjit Ram, Rita and Alex Marques, Fatima and Jorge Silva, Tony and Anna, Fernando and Fatima, John, Joe and Lucy, Lina and John Girling. Lovingly remembered by her 24 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Also survived by brother Carlos (Adalaide) Lima, nephews and nieces.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Saturday, July 5, 2003, in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his wife Lena and son Nick. Loving father and father-in-law of William and Theresa, Dorothy and the late Charlie Scibetta. Cherished grandpa of David (Denise), Charlene (Charlie), Carla (Sean), Brian, Darren and Kevin and great-grandpa of Kirsten and Evelyn. Eustrati was a long time member of the Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church. Special thanks to the medical staff attending our dad and the nurses from Community Care, Red Cross, Paramed, Dr. Coren and Dr. Flett of Dundas.

Peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2003 at the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Nicola for 49 years. Loving and caring mother of Michael, Tony and Cindy, Joe and Enza. Dearest grandmother of Sarah, Jesse, Emily, Nicholas and Robert. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Filomena and the late Michele Figliola, Antonietta and the late Antonio D'Avella, the late Giuseppe D'Avella, Alberto and Maria D'Avella, Ernesto and Lilia D'Avella, Clementina and Eugenio Capobianco, Maria and Donato Petrucelli, Pina and Antonio Trigiani. Dear sister-in-law of the late Maria and Cesare Rugiero, Lucia and the late Francesco Sabatino, the late Michele Sabatino, Nazzareno and the late Grazia Gentili, Antonio and Maria Sabatino. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thanks to the helpful staff and volunteers at the Carpenter Hospice.

Suddenly at his home on Monday, July 28, 2003, Tony Capretta in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Maria for 44years. Loved father of Ida and her husband Daniel Wade, and Tom Capretta. Dearest grandfather of Shannon and the late Liam. Brother of the late Carmen Capretta, and Giovanni Capretta. Brother-in-law of Iolanda and the late Livia; Alfredo and Irma Capretta; Alberto Capretta; Giacomo and Enrichetta Valle.
Son of the late Nicola and Elizabeth Capretta and son-in-law of Silvia and the late Antonio Capretta. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Tony was a retired foreman with Namasco Steel Company.

Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital with his family by his side on Monday, July 28, 2003 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Addolorata (Dora) for 68 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Emidio and Maria, Vincenzo and Yolanda, of Italy, Lidia and Mario Biancucci, Enio and Gabriella. Dearest Nonno of Edi, Carmella, Juliana, Mellisa, Dino, Nilla, Bruno, Ivo, Rosa, Christina and Laura, and dearest Bisnonno of Neil, Eric, Tiana, Sara, Olivia and Joseph. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Adelina and the late Egidio Diambrosio, Biancina and the late Tito Casimirri. Survived by many other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Canada, Venezuela and the U.S.A. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Peacefully at the Townsview Lifecare Centre on Wednesday, July 23, 2003, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Gina (nee Bressanutti) for 61 years. Dear father of Sergio and Rosa, Ennio and Judy. Loving grandfather of Joanne, Steven, Terri and Mark, and great-grandfather of Matthew and Scott Waters. Survived by his sister Lucine Narduzzi of Italy. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Italy, France and Switzerland. A special thanks to Donna, Gina and the staff of the Townsview Lifecare Centre. Domenico was a founding member of the Famee Furlane Social Club.
