Helen Lavert passed away at the Sault Area Hospital (Plummer site) on Saturday, April 5, 2003 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Norman Levert and dear mother of Linda Grandinetti (Ralph) and Judy D'Ettore. Loving grandmother of Mark Grandinetti (Kelly) and Nichole D'Ettore. Great grandmother of Audrey. Beloved daughter of the late Luigi and Maria Mancini. Dear sister of Mim Mancini (late Stella), Doc Mancini (Anne), Florence Perri (late John), Enes Mancici, Irma Mancini (Gino), the late Annie Mancini (Dominic) and the late Mario (late Agnes). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (Cathcart and St. James Streets) Tuesday, April 8th from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory's Church at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Victor Amadio officiating. Donations to the Community Cancer Clinic or St. Gregory's building fund would be appreciated.

Thomas G. McQuaid passed away at the General Hospital on Friday, April 4, 2003 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Millicent (Millie) and dear father of Michael Sr. Grandfather of Tanya and Michael Curtis McQuaid. Brother of Marianne Edwards. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Tom was a member of the Royal Regiment of Canada and a member of Branch 25 of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral and committal service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Bruce McLeish officiating. Loving mother of Jennifer White (Michael Kennedy) and Trevor White (Tracy). Betty is predeceased by her parents Ernie Hershey Sr., Willis and Louise Greig. Dear sister of Ernie Hershey (Marlene) of Atikokan, Ontario, Faithe Swann (Kevin) of Thunder Bay, Linda Thompson of Kamloops, B.C., Debbie Lind (Greg) of Thunder Bay, and Cheryl Fairbairn (Tim) of Atikokan. Also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Betty will be sadly missed by many friends. Friends may call at the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, April 7 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill McLean officiating. Loving father of Jane (John Valenti), Ed Jr. (MaryKaye), Jim, John and Kevin (Jennifer). Cherished grandpa of Katja and Kaija. Son of the late Reino and Hilda. Brother of Otto (Barbara), Anne Logan (David) and the late Allan (Shirley). Brother-in-law of Terttu Strom (Arne), Tellervo Sirvio (Elmer), George Tuira (Margaret) and Karl Tuira (Marnie). Special uncle to the Abbott boys, Doug (Ursula), Allan (Karen) and Jim (Anne). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, April 6 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Moday, April 7 at 11:00 am. with Pastor David Ens officiating .Interment at Port Findlay Cemetery. Born September 15, 1934, the 5th son of the late Theresa and Luigi Casola. He left us peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2003 at the Plummer Memorial Hospital after one courageous battle with cancer. Jimmy is remembered with love by his companion and best friend Marie, his beloved son Jimmy Jr. (Terry), Frank (Ann), Kenny (Karen), Jane Buonomo (Gino), Margaret Bumphrey (Michael) and Mary King (Jeff). Grandfather of Matthew, Christina, Sara, Kaitlin, Amy, Darcy, Deanna and Daniel. Jimmy will be missed so much by his brothers and one sister John Sr. (Cecile), Boofy (Norma), Albert (Marlene), Freddie (Sylvia), Margaret Killoran (late Jim) (Andy Benson) and Robert (Silvana). Much loved uncle of many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dear nephew of Fran Mascardelli (late Tarz) and loving friend of Barb and Darcey Paquette. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Dear son of the late John Baptiste and Elsie Corbiere (Zack). Special son of Jean Norman (Pine). Son-in-law of the late Robert and Marie Robinson. Dearest brother of John (Duke) Corbiere, Shirley Roach and Dianne Corbiere. Brother-in-law to Agnes Cote (Jean), Jean Robinson, Velma Robinson, Cathy Poulin (Regis), Henry Robinson (Debbie), Hilda Robinson (Fred), Harold Robinson (Laura), late Robert (late Sueann) Robinson, Alice Corbiere, John Roach. Special cousin to Clyde (Duke) Corbiere, John Zack. Calvin will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by his many personal close friends. Amazing grandmother of Bobby-Lynn Ferreira (Albano), John Jeffery Antonello (Tracy Bazzo), Christina Labelle (Claude), Lisa Fuse (Mark), Laura lynn Antonello (Naumi Haque), Christopher Zuccato, Aaron Fiacconi (Sarah Litchfield), Sean Michael Antonello and Eric Fiacconi (friend Rozlyne Anderson). Loving great grandmother of Mathew, Julia and Alexia. Dearest caring sister of Anna Peterson (late Ron) and the late Velia Slewidge (late Alex). Dora will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Dearest friend of Joyce Perry.
