Alberto Pino passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday May 29, 2003 at Van Daele Nursing Home in his 93rd year. Loving husband for 67 years to Esterina. Dear father of Tony "Antonio" (Lena), Teresa Milito (Tony), Frank (Linda), Ben (Bonnie) and John. Grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 11. Brother of Carmina Falsetti (late Salvatore) of Burnaby, B.C., the late Francesca Mazzuca (late Francesco) of New York and the late Lisa Marozzo (Vittorio) of Germany. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Saturday May 31 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. and then to Precious Blood Cathedral for a funeral mass at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Bernard Burns officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at the Van Daele Manor for their kindness and compassion.

Fred St. Croix passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, May 30, 2003. Beloved soulmate of Shirley. Loving father of Peggy Robertson (Gord), Terry Hurley (Steven), Fred St. Croix, Paul Metivier (Lee-Ann) and Clinton MacFarlane (Darlene). Grandfather of Josh, Tyler, Hannah, Matthew, Steven, Craig, Aaron and Brandi (Shane). Great grandfather of Kendra and Michael. Poppa Fred to Makayla and Vanessa. He will be missed by many friends and relatives. At Fred?s request, there will be no funeral services. The family wishes to thank Doctors Conley, Fratesi and Smith and the staff of Palliative Care. Husband of Gloria Jean. Uncle of Wendy and Naomi, Ricky and family and many nephews and nieces. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, June 2 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Nono of Anthony Politano (Kathy), Paul Politano, late Martin Politano, Maria Politano, Guido Guzzo (Maria), Rosa Guzzo (Steve), John Guzzo, Mark Campagna and Lisa Campagna (Jason). Great grandfather of 4. Son of the late Antonio and Raffaela Politano. Dear brother of; Antonietta Peluso of Pittsburg. Brother-in-law of the late Americo Coscarella (Angela), Victorio Coscarella (Carmella) all of Oshawa and the late Lisa Coscarella. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 sisters Cecelia Shepherd and Agnes Bernard, 2 brothers Herb McHarrie and Jim McHarrie. Aunt to Herbie Shepherd.
