passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Ken Leonard. Dear mother of Sandra Proulx (Peter), Bonnie Maguire (Dan) and the late Kenny Leonard. Cherished Grandma of Sean Maguire (Joely), Melanie Boston (Don), Mike Maguire (Bridget), Kenneth Proulx and Suzanne Proulx. Loving Nanny to Megan and Matthew. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, August 9, 2003 from 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Cancer Clinic would be appreciated. You were a very special lady and will be missed.

passed away in Ottawa on Friday, August 1, 2003 at the age of 90. She was born in Lunenburg, Ontario on May 8, 1913, daughter of Rev. John L. Gourlay of Ottawa and Janet Maud Young of Montreal. Soon after birth, she moved to Lancaster, Ontario where she spent her early childhood. She moved to Hilton Beach, St. Joseph’s Island and then on to Sault Ste. Marie to finish high school where she met her beloved husband Harold McAuley. Jean McAuley was a long –time resident of Sault Ste. Marie, having lived there for over sixty years. Jean was a teacher, a pianist and a great friend. Loving mother of Don McAuley, Janet and Frank Burrill, Valerie Grant and John McAuley. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Adelle, Amanda, John, Tamara and Heather, and also by her many nieces and nephews. Special consideration to a wonderful sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Keith McLarty, and friends Marilyn Conway, Joyce MacKay and Shirley Cumming whose shared laughter and support were such a comfort to her. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, August 8, 2003 from 6 until 8 pm and on Saturday, August 9, 2003 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. Sister of Joan and predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Isabelle will be remembered by her many friends at 55 Chapple Avenue.
