Cherished and loving mother of Chrissy (Paul) and Terry. Grandmother of David Cassidy. Daughter of the late Ida and Abe Lesage. Sister of Margie Akwenzie (Mike), Harley (Elaine), Geraldine, Dennis, Edward and predeceased by Donald, Earl, Ken and Leslie. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Loving grandfather of Jeff Jones (Phyllis Steinberg) and Erin Jones (Scott Dobbins), Darryl Jones (Karen) and Corey Watts-Jones, Leanne Dabbs (Rick) and Martin Black (Cindy), Ryan Brohas (Lisa) and Rhett Brohas (Laurel Bailey). Great grandpa Jones to Hannah and Ethan Dabbs, Ashley Black, Laura and Robert Jones, Zachary Dobbins and special grandpa to Darian Biron (Steinberg). Brother of Myrtle Willoughby (Harvey), Basil (Olive), Margaret McLeod (late Alex) and Lloyd. Martin is predeceased by sisters Laura Williams (late Raymond), Ada Grexton (late Ed), Alice Besler (Gordon), Lexie Alcock (late Russell) and brothers Freeman, Bert (late Mabel) and John (Catherine). Brother-in-law of the late Agnes Stobie (late Jack) and the late Mabel Mick (late Ed). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Sister of Thelma Haxton (Richard), Major Lorne Jannison (late Jessie), Jack Jannison (late Bernice), Gordon Jannison and predeceased by David Jannison, Fern Jeroskey, Ross Jannison and Ernest Jannison. Cherished and devoted mother of Earl (Lorraine), Lynn McKinnon (Garry), Patricia Brodie (Terry), Sharon Bock, Timothy (Cathy), Debbie McQuaid (Jamie), Tina Gale (Stan) and Gregory (Marnie). Very loving grandmother of Karen, Candice, Steve, Katrina, Mike, Christopher, Sheila, Shawna, Brian, Pam, Corey, Brittany, Kristen, Brandon, Dakota and Baylee. Loving great grandmother of Samia and Matthew. Daughter of the late Gertrude and Edward MacDonald. Dear sister of Gerry, Harold, Gordon, Helen, Shirley and the late; Margaret, Joan, Charlie, Stanley, Ralph, Wally, Ronny and Clyde. Doris will be greatly missed by her brother-in-law Rodney Bock and his wife Susan and their family. Doris’ humour and care for others will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A private family funeral service was held at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Saturday, September 13, 2003. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
