passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Sam Williams for 33 years and the late Martti Paavilainen. Cherished mother of Mirjam Rissanen (Matti), Markku Paavilainen (Jean), Paula Whelan (Jim), Pentti Paavilainen, Mikael Bill Paavilainen (Lisa) and Kaisa Manttari (Andy). Loving stepmother of Mary Anne Gasparetto (Jerry) and John Patrick Williams. Special grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 8. Survived by her sister, Sanna, in Finland. Anna Liisa will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service from the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 12 noon. Rev. Raija Perttula officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Finnish Rest Home Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.

passed away peacefully at Extendicare Van Daele on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Ruby (nee Reid) and loving father of Douglas (Linda) and Don/ Moses. Brother of Herv Rector (Sandy), Helen Kaine (Tom), Jacqueline Lecuyer (Wayne) and the late Roy Belanger (Pearl). Eugene (Gene) was born July 31, 1923 to Joseph and Lauretta Belanger of Espanola. Gene will be missed by grandsons Bob (Sya), Rick (Lisa), Jim (Leeann) and Zachary and great grandsons Mathieu, Jesse, Josh and great granddaughter Laurn and many nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends at Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, January 6, 2005 from 2 pm until time of service in the chapel at 3 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Donations to Extendicare Van Daele Residents Council or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 would be appreciated. A sincere thank you to Dr. Cziffer and the Third Floor Staff at Van Daele for their kindness and caregiving to Eugene during his stay. Dear brother of John (wife Jackie) of Scarborough, Rudolph (wife Betty) of Blind River and the late Donald, Rhea Gauthier and Rejeanne Ball. Will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces and friends. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 5 at 11:00 a.m. from the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River. Donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of Giuseppe (Beppi) Frattolin on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at the age of 88. Beloved husband for 62 years of Onorina (Zecchini). Dearly loved and much respected father of John Paul Frattolin (Sandra) and Rosemarie Pisani (Joseph). Cherished and devoted Nonno of Christopher Frattolin (Michelle), Sonya Caranci (David) and Jennifer Pisani. Son of the late Maria (Battel) and Giuseppe Frattolin. Much loved brother of the late Daniele (Italia), late Angelina Favert (late Gino) all of Italy, and Tranquilla Laurenti (late Nello) of Sault Ste. Marie. Special brother-in-law of Gina Torti (late Angelo) of Italy. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews here and in Italy. Beppi was indeed a kind, generous and well respected man. Those who knew him loved his gentleness, humility and dignity. We will miss him greatly. Because of him, the world was a better place. Much appreciation to the kind dedicated and extra special care given to him by the nursing staff on 100Y and on Palliative Care. In loving memory, Kathleen (Kay) Misner, May 25, 1920 - December 30, 2004 . Kay Misner a resident of Sault Ste. Marie and formerly of Tehkummah Township, died at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, Memorial Site on Friday, December 30, 2004 at the age of 84 years. She was born in England, daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Lovejoy) Price. Kay was a member of St. John's Anglican Church in South Bay Mouth and had a number of other interests. She was a member of the Woman's Auxiliary of the Air Force, the Seniors Triangle Club in Tehkummah, was an avid gardener and also enjoyed knitting. Kay was predeceased by her beloved husband Leslie Charles Misner in 1999. Loving and loved mother of Sharran Butland and husband Stephen, David Misner and wife Sandy, Mary-Ann McCauley and husband Gary, Susan Cormier and husband Roger, Colin Misner and Kathleen Hill and husband Terry, all of Sault Ste. Marie. Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lilly of England. Predeceased by brother James and sister Alice. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Manitowaning on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. passed away at Sudbury Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the age of 69. Father of Jamie. Brother of Jim. Uncle to Tim and Tom. Allan was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting and playing hockey. Most of all he loved spending his last few days having a coffee with his friends from Batchawana. At Allan's request, cremation will take place.
