passed away with his family by his side at the St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Sudbury, Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the age of 70. Loved and sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Folz (Walthers). Dear son of the late John and Bertha Folz. Dear father of Brenda Folz-Royer (Marcel) of Blind River, Judy Burtch (Don) of Deep River, John Jr. of Sault Ste. Marie, Carl of Blind River, Teresa Paquin (Luc) of North Bay and Harold (Sarah Nyman) of St. Catherines. Dear grandfather of Shari Lewis (Andre Gosselin), Caroline Royer, Bobbie Lewis, Marcel Royer (Michelle Brunette), Christina Mitchell (Cory), Jessica Paquin and Nicholas Paquin. Dear great grandfather of Ashley, Krista, Anastasia, Joey, Alexi, Avery and Dominik. Dear brother of Anna Rajotte, Loretta Pilon (Lucien), Mary Schmietgall (Arnold), Hazel Pilon (Patrick), Michael (Patricia), Janet DeVos, Carol Lamorie (Gary) and Veronica Baird (John) all of Blind River, Reginald (Sylvia) of Elliot Lake and the late Leslie Folz, Jean Elipani and Doris Wilson. John’s passions in life were gardening, hunting, fishing and playing guitar. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Saturday, September 18, 2004 from 10 a.m. till service time at 11 a.m. Burial of ashes to follow. Formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, died peacefully at the King City Lodge Nursing Home in King City, Ontario on September 16, 2004 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Eric John Irwin. Cherished mother of Eric and Margaret. Loved grandmother of Christine and James. Mother-in-law of Brenda (Langdon) Irwin. Sister of Jessie Foulds, the late Jim Foulds, and the late Jean (Foulds) Parr. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, September 20, 2004 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at 11 am. Rev Phil Miller officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. passed away at the General Hospital on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred. Loved mother of Mary-Ann Smith (Ted), Rellande Neyland (Roger), Peggy Syrette (Brad), Wilfred James, Jeffrey and David (Stephanie). Grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 15. Sister of Garnet (Sony) Dugas (Deanna), John Dugas (Christa), Lorraine Lauzon and the late May Sayers (Clement) and Shirley Lascelles. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service at St. Isacc Jaques Catholic Church, Batchawana Bay, on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 2 p.m. Interment Batchawana Cemetery. A luncheon celebrating Marlene’s life will be held at the Hilltop Restaurant.

MURPHY, William James (Jim)
Tuesday, September 21, 2004

passed away on Friday, September 17, 2004 at the West Coast General Hospital, in Port Alberni, BC following a brief but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 59 years. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Cembal (1997) he is survived by his only daughter and son-in-law Kelly and Mike Palmer and the lights of his life, his two grandchildren; Greggory and Jennifer. He is also survived by his special sister and brother-in-law Judi and Gilles Rouleau and one brother Michael Murphy both of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents William James and Marie Murphy and brother John. A private family gathering will be held at a late date. Cremation. In lieu of flowers donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Div., 1639 Younge St., Toronto, ON, M4T 2W6. Chapel of Memories entrusted with arrangements. At Sault Ste Marie on Monday, September 20, 2004 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Anne (nee Bondar) Tonello and loving father of Tessie Anne Wickham (D’Arcy) and Fabio Guido Tonello (Glenna). Loving Nono of Natasha, Oliver and Guinevere. Son of the late Fabio and Noreen Tonello and son-in-law of the late George and Anastasia Bondar. Brother of the late Mario Francescutti (the late Madeline) and the late Ines Miller (late Dusty). Brother-in-law of Alex Bondar (Marge), the late Peter Bondar (Leah), the late Mike Bondar, the late John Bondar and the late Mary Zaharko. At Guido’s request private funeral services were held at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home with Rev. Victor Amadio officiating. Interment took place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Memorial Fund would be appreciated.

Adored Papa of; Emily, Josiphine and Tammy Fitzgerald, Amanda, Jennifer, Brandon and Jordan Coccimiglio, Jean Claude and Jacquelynn Paquette and Brittany, Emile and Natalie Roberts and great grandchildren; Dylann, Tanner, Maison and Aidan. Son of the late Jules and Antonia Begin. Emile is the fourth child of 14 brothers and sisters. Emile will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private visitation was held, followed by a funeral Mass on Monday September 20, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Mother of God Church with Reverend Don McMillan officiating. Interment at Goulais River Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the S.A.H. Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to send a special thank you to; Dr. Spadafora, Dr. McLean, the Red Cross Homemakers, the Bayshore Nurses and the S.A.H. Cancer Clinic Nurses. Loving father of; Karen (Jim), Brian and Mark (Shannon and son Jordan). Cherished grandfather of; Kimberly (Frank) of Sault Ste. Marie, Stacy (Dwayne) of Calgary. Brother of; Frances Kuczenski (late Donald), late Kenneth, late Hazel, late Annamae and the late Ruby. Brother-in-law of; Thomas Morbin, Lillian Morden, Robert Stone (Wilma), late Edward (Marie), late Gordon (Ann) and the late William (Phyllis). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Jack served in World War II in France, Germany, Belgium and Holland. Grandson of Wilbur Wright (late Annie), the late Ron Martin, Joe Richards (late Elsie), and Josie and Chuck MacLeod. Cherished friend of Valerie Paradis. Special nephew of Ray Wright (Sylvia) and Ray and Shirley Brown. Cousin of Allan and Carol, Susan, Sandra and younger cousins Melissa, Christopher, Jeffery, Myles, Cassidy and Chelsey. Jason will be remembered by his good friends Allan Lowen and Paul Hilliar, by co-workers at MNR and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Bijou will miss him.
