passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at the age of 52. Beloved son of Jean and the late Lawrence Roussain. Husband of Penny (Guzzo) and father of Tom Jr. Dear brother of Carol (John Miners), Doug, Bob (Laurie) and Peter (Norine). Son-in-law of Rose and the late Louis Guzzo. Remembered by his nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Thursday, July 29, 2004 from 7 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 8:30 pm Rev. Paul Conway officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Clinic, Palliative Care or Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family. Thank you to Doctors Spadafora, Walde, and Waymouth and all the nurses of the SAH Palliative Care and Cancer Clinic.

DAVID, Margaret (Maggi) Jean (nee Pousette)

passed away peacefully on July 28, 2004 at Golden Birches Terrace, Blind River in her 74th year. Predeceased by her husband Larry David of Cochrane. Survived by her children Peter Los (Ozlem) and Amy Campbell (Paul). Dear grandmother of Monty and Leylaan of Australia and Tegan and Colin of North Bay and Joseph David of Toronto. Dear sister of John Pousette (Evelyn) of Terrace B.C., Shirley Cousine (late Vic) of Hamilton, Maggi's Blind River family included sisters Janet Reinhardt (Don), Molly Vitone (Ken) and Judith Pousette (Rex Steele). Maggi graduated from McGill in '52, trained as a dietician. Other careers were as a florist and a teacher's assistant for special needs children while in Cochrane. She was an accomplished needlepoint and smocking artist. We will remember our mother, sister and friend as a kind, generous, loyal and patient woman. A memorial service will be held on August 20, 2004 at 4 p.m. at St. Andrew's United Church in Blind River. In lieu of flowers, donations to Golden Birches Terrace or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. At the General Hospital on Wednesday, August 4, 2004. Daughter of the late James and May Wilson of Wharncliffe. Widow of George Rupert Ellis. Dearly loved mother of Dorothy McEwen (Rolly), Wilson (Louise), Ron (friend Diane), late Glen (Tilly), Austin (Dawn) and Dan. She will be missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister of Merla McGrath of Sault Ste. Marie, Florence of Rochester, Michigan and Reba of Shelbourne, Ontario. Predeceased by her brother Ruebin and her sisters Edna and Lillian. In respecting mom's wishes, a private family funeral was held from the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (759-2522). Mrs. Helen Smith officiated. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.

passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Sunday, August 7, 2004 at the age of 65. Beloved husband to Lula-Belle. Loving father of Kathy (Ray), Rose (Ricky), Lillian (Mark), Gary, Blanche (Lee), Nancy (Louis), Alphonse and Betty (Rick). Cherished grandfather of 16 and great grandfather of 13. Brother of Joe (Betty). Andy is predeceased by his parents Phillip and Lillianne, brothers Alphonse, Peter, Emile, sisters Marie and Jean and a granddaughter Sharon Arlene. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday August 11, 2004 from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Rev. Proud grandma of Lorrie, Roddy, Robert, Sarah, James, Ben, Rachel, Lucas, Suzanne, Marc, Michael, Great Grandmother of 10. Daughter of the late Rod and Cora Varcoe. Dear sister of Don Varcoe (late Dorothy), Marilyn Schmidt (late Joe), and predeceased by Fordy Varcoe (Anne) and James Varcoe (late June). Sister-in-law of Peggy, Fay and Irene Bolduc. Special mother-in-law of Brian Baic. Best friend of Phyllis Marrinelli. Hazel will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Loving grandmother of 19 and great grandmother of 15. Special sister of Lawrence Cadreau (Elizabeth) and predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Dear sister-in-law of Mary Lothrop (late William), Cecile Mann (late Gerald). Amelia will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
