In her 92nd year, passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Monday, June 14, 2004. Wife of the late Claude (Smokey) McLeod for 59 1/2 years. Mother of Patricia Miskimin (Ron). Grandmother of Shelley Dodd (John) and Terry Miskimin (Alison). Great grandmother of her cherished great grandchildren; Mathew and Julia Miskimin and Austin and Adele Dodd. Sister of Nora Hockley (Bill), George Rivard (late Maime), Henry 'Bud' Rivard (Elsie), Margaret Hoath (Richard Jr. 'Dick') and pre-deceased by sister Irene Masters (late Tom) and brother Harvey Rivard (Molly). At Delia's request a private family funeral was held at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) with Reverend Bruce Cain officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Group Health Centre Trust Fund or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Dear son of Ethel and the late Eric Maitland of Iron Bridge. Wife Patricia. Dear father of Kyle (wife Lisa) of Blind River and Sheldon (wife Maria) of Sault Ste. Marie. Grandfather of Andrew, Kyle, Kristina, Miranda, and Brendan. Brother of Mrs. Sylvia Clapson (Dennis) of Regina, Mrs. Brenda Hibbard (Raymond) of Iron Bridge, and the late Earl Maitland. Ronald will be missed by many nephews and nieces. Dear son-in-law of Lucille and Albert Laderoute. Loving father of Stephane, Nathalie and Michel Bray all of Blind River. Dear brother of Gilles Bray (Marcelle) of Hearst, Denis Bray (Judith Meilleur) of Senegal, Africa, Maurice Bray (Lucille) of London, Helene Bray of Hearst and Lise Bray Brownhill (Ken) of Barrie. Special uncle of Yvan Bray, Lynne Bray Potvin (Frederic), Marie-Lea Bray, Paul Bray, Janele Brownhill and Danielle Potvin. Will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He has touched the hearts of many. Alain was a dedicated teacher and principal at Ecole Secondaire Jeunesse Nord. He was actively involved in the Club Richelieu and very community minded. He was an active member of Paroisse Ste-Famille. His great passion was spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed a variety of sports. Peacefully on June 16, 2004 at South Centennial Manor, Iroquois Falls, Ontario, Dorothy passed on to find her beloved Sam. Wife of the late Samuel Cooper of Porquis Junction, Ontario. She is survived by Lesley Ann (Frank Hilb) and Barry Edward Cooper both of Sault Ste. Marie. Dearest grandmother of Stephen Hilb, Wendy McBride, Alysia (Frank) Souilliere, Bradley, Erica Cooper and a great grandmother of Julian McBride. She will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Harriett Robinson of Porquis Junction, Dorothy (Albert) Clement of Smooth Rock Falls, Florence (John) Dunn of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and brother-in-law of Alfred Cooper of Havelock, Ontario. The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Thursday, June 17, 2004 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Robert and of the late Anna (nee Mingst) Scherzinger. Husband of the late Klara Theresia Scherzinger (nee Rengers), predeceased in 1995. Loving father of Margarete Swinnerton and Clare Boisclair (Morris) both of Beeton, Irene Kritikopoulos (George) of Toronto, Helmuth (Linda), Werner (Peg) and Peter (Sue) all of Sudbury and Barbara Martin (Miguel) of Sault Ste. Marie. Predeceased by his 2 sisters, Imgard Miles and Irene Giese and by his brother Walter. Survived by his sister-in-law Frieda Scherzinger (nee Bredehorst). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren Brittany, Irene, Alexander, Mathias, Andrew, Christopher, Katrina, Gordon, Michael, Theresa, Mark, Milo, Jasmine, Stefan and Joseph. A man of many talents, Helmuth was a poet, painter and philosopher. A proud father and grandfather, Helmuth believed in the sanctity of life and the need to encourage our youth. He supported the Sudbury Right to Life Group and his Parish of the Good Shepherd in Espanola. The family will receive friends at the Co-Operative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., E.
