passed away at the General Hospital on Wednesday June 16, 2004. Mother of Terry Renoult (Doug). "Mamere" of Chris Bernardi and Sara (Glen) Anderson, great-grandmother of C.J. Finn and Cristin and Courtney Anderson all of California. Special "Mom" of Marie Matte and "Mamere" of Jennifer and Darryl LaPierre of Sault Ste. Marie. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, Milton LaPierre, in 1991 and recently by her partner of 4 years, Norman Pultz. She is survived by her sisters, Helda James, Julie Sikora and Sally Mierau, her brothers Armand, Arthur, Claude, Marcel and Yvon Arsenault and numerous nieces and nephews including Nancy (Real) Jacques of Sault Ste. Marie. At Lorraine's request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation. passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, June 15, 2004; Drew McDonagh. Very much loved son of Elaine and late Tony McDonagh. Special loving brother and friend of Erin (Russell) and Christopher. Special Godfather and uncle to Kathleen and Mathieu. Cherished grandson of Murray and Shirley McDonagh and the late Kathleen and Louis Syrette. Special nephew to Diane and Harry Jones, Ed Syrette, Tim & Darlene Syrette, Mickey and Jay Syrette, Dan and Charlotte Zack, Paul and Brenda Syrette, Doug and Susie McCabe, Orville and Colleen McCabe and the late Marcel Syrette, Thomas and Debbie Hocken, Sharon and Les Ayotte. passed away suddenly and peacefully at the Finnish Resthome; surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 16, 2004; two weeks short of his 86th birthday. Survived by his wife Etna (Stewart), daughters; Penny Elliott (Brian), Leslie Mancini, Connie Witty (Glen), Patsy Bearden (Ken), Becky McLean, sons; Bob (Colleen), Brian (Janice), Jim (Jocelynne). Proud grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 3. Brother of; the late Lester, Dora McLean, late Allan, late Gordon and Gladys Mitchell. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Morley has joined his hunting partners who have gone before him. Adored Grandmother of 16; Denise Santana (Jim), Mark Santana (Victoria), John Santana (Mary Catherine), Lisa Goddard (Kelvin), Michael Santana, Eugene Scarfone (Pauline), David Scarfone (Toni), Andrea Scarfone, Paul Mariotti, Frances Sparks, Patricia Elliott (Steven), Richard Mariotti (Dawn), Rhonda Ingham (Daryl), late Joseph Santana, Cynthia Heinrich (David), Stephanie Santana and Frank Santana. Proud Great-Grandmother of; Stormer Santana, Ella and baby Katie Santana, Carlee Scarfone, Brianna Scarfone, Christopher Sparks, Amber Craig, Alexa Rose Mariotti, Samantha and Jacob Ingham, Austin and Ava Heinrich. Daughter of the late Giacondo and Carmela Carota. Predeceased by her sisters; Pompilia DePasquale (Ralph), Lena Savino, Mary Durante and brother Dominic Carota. Special sister-in-law of; the late Sandy Santana, Virginia Russiani (Julio) and Assunta Suriano (Armand). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was a member and Past-President of the Princess Marie Jose Lodge. GRIFFITH, Carl Matthew

Died on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 after a long and painful struggle. Predeceased by his parents Captain and Florence Griffith and his sister Eileen Hormavirta (Jorma). Carl is survived and missed by his sister Florence Haft (Victor), his brother Fred Griffith (Marguerite) and his nieces and nephews; Mary Jane Persic (Silvio), Bob Haft (Andrea), Louise Stephens (John), Matthew Griffith (Brigitte), Kathleen Griffith and hospital volunteers Carrie Apostle and Ed St. Amand. A private funeral was held on Monday, June 7, 2004. For many years Carl worked as a deckhand on the ferry Agoming and later at Algoma Steel and Algoma Central. His abilities as a woodworker and turner were well known and appreciated by many. Carol was a uniformed member of the Salvation Army and gave many volunteer hours to its work. During his lengthy illness Carl was the recipient of wonderful and attentive care at the Davey Home and the Sault Area Hospital. Our thanks to the medical and nursing staff. Peacefully at the General Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Monday, June 14, 2004 at the age of 83. Devoted husband and life-partner of the late Margaret. Much loved father of Mary Nebesniuk (Fred), Cathy Chaput (Peter), Alison and Mindy. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Christine (Steve), Matthew, Aaron and Chelsea. Dear brother of Colleen O'Shaughnessy (late Jim) and Doug (Dory). Brother-in-law of Inda Adams (Jim). Proud uncle of David (Madeline), Barbara (Dusty), Jeff (Judy) and Shauna (Kevin) as well as several other nieces and nephews. Devoted "friend" of Max and Balto.
