John Richard Murray Kelso went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at the age of 59, in Oliver, BC. John is survived by his wife, Donna, daughters Kristy Collins (David) and Kimberly Smith; three grandchildren, Kyle and Chelsi Smith and Brendan Collins; mother-in-law Chris Joynes; sister-in-law Diane Oliver (Darcy); brother-in-law Jim Joynes and three nieces. John was predeceased by his parents Murray and Jean Kelso. John was born in Kingston, Ontario but spent most of his life in Northern Ontario where he enjoyed the outdoors. John attended university in Guelph and Winnipeg. After graduation John worked two years for the Ministry of Natural Resources in Port Dover and then spent 29 years doing fisheries related research for Department of Fisheries and Oceans, first in Burlington and then Sault Ste. Marie. John was well known and respected in the bagpipe band circles of Canada, United States and Scotland. John and Donna moved to Oliver, BC in the spring of 2001 to enjoy retirement. John was a man of many talents, with a big heart, who will be greatly missed by many. A memorial service was held on May 22 in Oliver. Arrangements were made by Graham Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.

Surrounded by her family at the General Hospital on Friday May 27, 2004; Sandy Marinovich at the age of 88 years. Loving wife of the late Mathew Marinovich. Loving mother and best friend of; John Marinovich (Carole), Doreen Marinovich (Peter Stone) and Gail Boston (Fergie). Adored gram of; Kelly Zorzit (Michael), Dr. John Marinovich (Dr. Sue Marinovich), Niko Marinovich and Troy Marinovich (Erica), Meghan Boston (Michael McCracken) and Candace Boston (Ron Pelletier). Proud great gram of; Tyson and Shane Zorzit, Matteson, Bailey and Abbey Marinovich. Dear sister of; the late Patsy Chiarelli (late Bernie), late Theresa Chiarelli, late Lilly Aiello (late Charlie), late Victor Chiarelli (late Helen) and the late Eda Sartor (Adolfo). Sandy will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Saturday May 29, 2004 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 noon and then to St. Jerome Church for a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Hamish Currie officiating. Memorial donations made to the St. Jerome Parish Building Fund or to the Sault Area Hospital Critical Care Unit would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to Dr. M. Febbraro, Dr. Matthews, Dr. G. Berg and Dr. B. Maloney and all the special nurses on the 5th and 2nd floors. Sandy was a special lady who loved her family and life. She had a unique relationship with each of her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed. ‘Rest in peace Mom.'

It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Del Morris at the General Hospital on Friday, May 28, 2004 at the age of 48 after a brief illness. Husband, best friend and soul mate of Cheryl Margaret Morris (nee Bentley). Beloved father of Leah, Bryan (Carissa), Michael and Robert. Son of Beatrice Morris and the late William and son-in-law of Emerson and Joyce Bentley. Brother-in-law of Philip Bentley (Marilyn), Lloyd (Max) Bentley (Cindy) and Janice Bentley (Don Hill). Special friend to Cindy and Lyndon Slewidge. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, May 31, 2004 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 3 pm. Great grandmother of Jenna and Amanda Coulis, Megan Anderson, Jonathon and Noah Fuselli. Sister of Yvonne Le Casse (late Roland), Leo Chartrand (Janet) and Romeo Chartrand (Cathy). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
