With deepest sorrow, we announce his passing on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at the Plummer Hospital surrounded by his wife Taimi of 60 years and his five loving children. He will be deeply missed by Marita Reid (Wallace), Reijo (Anja), Terttu McKeachnie (William), Kyosti (Francine) and Paivi McCoy (Dennis). “Ukki” was the proud and loving grandfather of Cheryl (Robert), Jerry (Sharon), Derek, Alan (Monica), Pamela (Kenneth), Christine (Peter), Tania (David), Tara (Stephen), Melanie (Cliff), Corey (Colleen), Elaina, Satu, Caleb and Noah. Also great grandfather to Bradley (Alicia), Samantha, Rachel, Emily, Hannah, Tyler, Madison, Joshua and Liam. Great great grandfather to Jeremy. Eino was a proud veteran of the Second World War, serving in the Finnish Army (Gunnery). Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 from 11-1 pm. Service in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev. Kaarlo Suomela officiating. The family would like to thank the Algoma Cancer Clinic, especially Dr. Walde, caregiver Leena Oxford, and the palliative care staff. Donations to the Algoma Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.

Suddenly at home on Saturday, May 29, 2004 in his 79th year. Loving husband of Elizabeth. Stepfather of Lee Taylor (Catherine), Lin Maurice (Frank), Christine Stoll (Terry), Glen MacIntyre (Delores) and the late Jacqueline Deschenes. Survived by his sister Myrla Daniels and predeceased by his brothers James, Harold, Lorne and Stanley Papineau and sisters Pearl Garland, Viola Mills, Verna Carey, Ruby Dunn, Florence Spurway and Phyllis Frappier. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Clare served as Union President of the Tube Mill in the 1960’s and was a member of the founding Boards of ASCU Community Credit Union and The Group Health Centre. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Thursday, June 4, 2004 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, June 5, 2004 at 11 am. Rev. passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at the age of 69. Husband of Joan Vickers. Loving father of Debbie Bumbaco (Dave), Kim Burry and Mona Judd-Henrey (Keith). Grandpa Vickers to Erica, Amy, Kayla, Ryan and also Houston, Dusty and Jessa. Sadly missed by his friends at Club 14. Friends may call at the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 from 1 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 3 pm. Rev. Sam Norbo officiating. March 10, 2004, in Westport, at the age of 49. Son of Rita and the late John Calvert of Sault Ste. Marie. Brother of Lynne (John) Cliffe of Sault Ste. Marie, Joanne (Larry) Brygman of Stittsville and Randall Calvert of Low, Quebec. We express appreciation to all family members who joined us on Saturday, May 15, 2004, for a private remembrance of Dale's life and passing. Special thanks to Gary and Helen Calvert and family who were good friends of Dale for many years.

passed away after a lengthy illness, at the London University Hospital with his family by his side on Thursday May 27, 2004 at the age of 48 years. Beloved son of Adalgisa and the late Antonio Fragomeni. Special brother of; Franco Fragomeni (Lucille) of Belleville and Nancy MacDonald (Jarrett Scott). Sergio will be sadly missed by his special nieces and nephews; Anthony and Andrew Fragomeni and Melissa and Julia MacDonald. Also sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sergio is now reunited in spirit with his father Antonio, his special grandmother Teresa Marrato, brother-in-law Joe MacDonald and Zio Franco Marrato. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Tuesday June 1, 2004 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.; then to St. Gregory's Church (Estelle Street) for funeral mass at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Victor Amadio officiating. passed away at home on Thursday, May 27, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Beloved wife of the late Hugo Giovanatti and cherished mother of Clement and Irma Giovanatti (Jerry Parniak). Daughter of the late Domenic and Giuseppina Pavoni. Sister of the late Mary Deluco, and Andrew (Andy) Pavoni. Survived by her grandchildren Gratia Giovanatti – Toscano (Paolo), Irma Jr. Direnzo (Paolo) and David Giovanatti, and by her great grandchildren Maximiliano and Chiara and many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Stephanie and Victor Batenchuk and Rose Pascuzzi. Carmela was known for her indomitable spirit and extraordinary generosity. She was a devout Christian with a child like faith in Jesus. She was a life time member of the Catholic Women’s League. During her declining years she raised the bar on models of patience, optimism and courage. She will be sadly missed. Friends may call at the O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home (corner of Cathcart and St. James Streets) Tuesday, June 1st from 11 a.m. until 1:15. Funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Predeceased by 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
