Died suddenly March 18, 2004, in his residence in Wawa and will be missed by his mother, Carol Bergeron. passed away at the Plummer Hospital (Palliative Care Unit) of S.S. Marie on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at the age of 73 years. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, daughter of the late Lorne and Viola Wright. Most loving husband of Douglas (Sandy). Beloved mother of Wendy Mackan, (Bob Gioventu) of Sault Ste. Mare, Mary-Lea Buchan and Vanesa Jo Woods (Jim) of Gore Bay. Daughter-in-law of the late Peter and Sarah (Sadie) Buchan. Proud grandmother of Heather Mackan of Calgary, Stacey Mackan (Shawn Kelly) of St. Catherines, Beverly and Trevor Wright of Kagawong, Patti Jo Woods of Gore Bay and North Bay and Deborah Woods of Gore Bay. In keeping with Vanesa’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Those who wish to pay tribute to Vanesa may go to church and say a prayer.
