Beloved husband of Marion (Marsh) Hernden of Sudbury and the late Doris (Hogem) Hernden, predeceased 1979. Loving father of Sonja (husband Dave Heintzman). Cherished grandfather of Tim and Dean. Special stepfather to Geoff Goodman (wife Brenda) and Russ Goodman. Dear step-grandfather of Selena and Darrell; great grandchild Justin. Dear son of John and Eliza (McLennan) Hernden, predeceased. Dear brother of Alice Shaule and Mack Hernden (wife Doreen) both of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Tom, Millie and Ida, all predeceased. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews. Funeral visitation at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Wednesday, April 6th, 2005 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #76, Sudbury.
