In loving memory Judith (Judy) Anne Gill passed away March 24, 2005 peacefully at home after a long, courageous battle with ALS. Beloved wife of the late George Gill. Loving and caring mother to Corrina Storozuk (friend Brian Gouza) and Stephen Storozuk (Monique). Grandmother of Michael, Joseph and Mackenzie. Devoted sister to Andrew Alexander, Christine Delarosbil (Fern), the late Bonnie Alexander and the late Donald Maki. Judy will be sadly missed by her special nephew Joseph Alexander and many more nieces and nephews and many special friends. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 from 11 am until time of service in the chapel at 1 pm. Major Paul Wood officiating. The family would like to say a heartfelt thank-you to the homecare workers, nurses and neighbours for all their help. Memorial contributions to the ALS Society would be appreciated by the family.

Loving son of Velma (Edward Delaurier) of Whitefish and Glen McCormack, predeceased 1977. Dear brother of Glenda (husband John Majkot) of Stoney Creek, Donna (husband Jim Cameron) of Whitefish and Jim (friend Trish) of Windsor. Special uncle of David, Joel, Michael, Dan and Tracy. Born in Sault Ste.Marie, he worked as a stationery engineer at INCO for 30 years, retiring in 2004. Funeral service in the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Tuesday, March 29th, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. Interment in the Whitefish Public Cemetery. Donations to Heart and Stroke Fund would be appreciated. (Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday)

Peacefully and quietly after a courageous battle with cancer at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 25, 2005 at the age of 70. Loving wife of Lorne. Beloved mother of George (Janice), Pam, Keith (Nancy) and John. “Nanny” to Christopher, Scott, Michael, Blair, Sarah, Lindsay, Samantha and Amanda. Sister of Mary (late Jack), Jean (late Walter), Grace (late Allan), Ruth (John), Doris (Carl) and predeceased by her brothers Edward and Tom. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special friend to Kendra, Katie, Kathy and Ken and also to her extended family at the Pinecrest Campground. Dear mother of Maureen Norman (Robert Yonis) and Anita Moran (Richard Albert) all of Blind River. Dear grandmother of Valerie, Heather and Wayne Norman all of Ottawa and John Anthony Hammond and Joanna Hammond both of Ottawa. Great grandmother of Joseph Martel. Dear sister of Faith Taylor of Jacksonville, Florida, Cindy Griffin (Davey) and Rita Griffin both of Sault Ste. Marie, Kirk Griffin of Winnipeg and the late Clifford, Brian and Muriel Griffin. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held Saturday, December 24 at 11:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home. Survived by his wife Rita and four children Robbie, Bradley, Karen and Marnie and 6 grandchildren all of Toronto. Son of the late William (Bill) and Myrtle. Brother of Donald of the Sault and uncle to Cindy-Lou, Nancy, David and Maureen. Bob was a lawyer in the Sault for many years before moving to Toronto. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral will be held in Toronto. Burial in Greenwoods Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Lung Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the families.

Marie, Stella Sgro (Vito) of Hamilton and Evelyn Zimmaro of Peterborough. Friends may call at O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home, corner of Cathcart and St. James Streets, Friday, December 23 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass and committal service Saturday, December 24 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Cathcart Street at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Eric Pannike officiating. Donations to Sault Area Hospital or Blessed Sacrament Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Tony's family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of 300Y at Sault Area Hospital for the care and compassion shown them during Tony's illness.
