It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our loving mother. She was born June 28, 1910 and died December 12, 2005. She was 95. Loving wife of the late Bruno Tasson. Cherished mother of: Maria Antonia (late Francesco) Tassone, Nicola Cosma (Teresa) Tassone (Sault), Michelina (Salvatore) Tassone (Toronto), Dottore Bruno Tassone (Spadola, Italy). Loving grandmother of Concetta/ Connie (Dino) Mazzuca (Sault), Vito (Anna) Tassone (Sault), Bruno Francesco Tassone (Sault), Annunziata (Frank) Fuda (Toronto), Bruno Cosmo Tassone (Sault) and other grandchildren also residing in Toronto and Spadola, Italy. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial mass wil be held at Precious Blood Cathedral on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at 778 Queen Street East, Sault, Ontario.

Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at his home in Dearborn, Michigan at age 82. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Mary and loving father of John, Patricia (Michael) Prendergast, Michael, and Anita (Alan) Ankenbauer. Dear brother of Elda (Terry) Corbett, Chester (Angela) DePoli and the late Renata (Aldo) DeLorenzi. He will be greatly missed by his two grandchildren, Olivia and Evan Prendergast and will be remembered fondly by his 17 nieces and nephews. Mr. DePoli was born in the Sault on December 4, 1923 and moved to Dearborn, Michigan in 1950. Donations to the Angela Hospice, 14100 Newburgh Road, Livonia, Michigan 48154 would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the General Hospital on Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Beloved wife of the late James L. Egan. Loving mother of J. Patrick (JoAnn), Michele Callahan (Michael Pepe) of Atlanta, Georgia, Jim (Cathy McCullough) and Kim Brescacin (Frank). Dear Grandmother of Bradley, Gregory, Ryan, Rebecca (Scott Brown), Timothy, Christopher, Caitlin, Carlee & Liam. Beloved daughter of the late Henri and Palmyre Labussiere of Normandy, France. Dear sister of the late Maurice Labussiere (Gilberte), Ginette Coispel (late Marin) and Jacqueline Closmenil (late Andre). Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Normandy, France. A private funeral service was held on Friday, December 23, 2005 at Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758). Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAH) or the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the staff of 300Y for their care and compassion.

Beloved father of Brenda Teite (Georges), Robert Elliott, Alexandria (Andria) Valois (Marcel) and the late Joanne Elliott. Cherished Puppa of Andrew, Jennifer, Joseph, Catlin, Darcie and Julia. Special great Puppa of Kyle, Julian, Lindsay and Kassie. Dear brother of the late Fred Elliott (Helen). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Joe will be sadly missed by his special friend K.C. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 11 am. Father Michael Williams officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Hawk Junction, Ontario at a later date. Sister of Gabriella Greganti (George) and the late Fausto Mea. Great Grandmother of Ben, Lily, Thomas and Charles. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Dear grandmother of Allison Hallam (Gary), Danielle Marks, Kylie Marks, Katherine Follis (Harvey), Karen Bush (Warren), Laura Marks, Benjamin Marks, Kristyn Moll, Ryan Moll and C.J. Johnson. Cherished Great Grandmother of Ethan Moll, Jasmine Bush, Amelia Bush, Kayla Follis, Hailey Follis, Lucas Hallam and Kailey Moll. Daughter of the late Anna & Andrew Klamerus. Sister of the late Jenny Lasook (husband Joe) and Ed Klamerus of Sault Ste. Marie. Julie was proud of her Ukrainian heritage and in growing up in the Bayview neighborhood. She enjoyed her many years as a waitress; firstly at Guffin’s where she met Frank, then at the Windsor Hotel and then at the Root River Golf Club. Funeral service to be celebrated at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 1 p.m. Father Jaroslaw Lazoryk officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Columbarium. passed away peacefully with his wife and son by his side on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at the Toronto General Hospital at the age of 58. Loving husband and best friend of Lila for 38 years. Caring father of Shelley Ash (Keith) and Martie McMillan (Terri). Devoted grandfather to Taylor and Jessica. Son of the late Clarence and Frances McMillan. Son in law of Anita Koski (late Tauno). Brother of Barb Leveille (Gary), Betty Conte (Dan), Jim, Lorne (Angie), Bernard (Linda), Earl (Bernice), Roger (Marilyn), late Jack and the late Gerald. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Best friend to many including his dog “Mooch”. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 from 1-4 pm for a celebration of Glen’s life. Glen was a founding member of the Goulais Fire & Rescue and a heart transplant recipient.
