Dad passed away December 8, 2005 in West Lake, Louisiana, at the age of 82. Predeceased by Claire (Mantha). Survived by second wife Clarice of West Lake, Louisiana. Father of Jean (Noreen), Paul (Sharon), Francine, and Charles. Grandfather of Ray, Jean-Paul, David, James, Shawn, Cherie, Rejean, Genevieve, Christine, Pat (deceased), and Mark. Also grandfather of 4. Funeral was held in West Lake December 10th. A memorial service will be held in Gatineau, Quebec, in the new year. Thank you for all the brothers and sisters in Christ who prayed for Dad. For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting and his truth endures to all generations. Psalm 100-5.

Peacefully passed away on Monday December 19th, 2005 at Lady Dunn Hospital in his 61st year. He was the cherished son predeceased of (Ludovic and Hannah Bennett of Windsor 2002 - 2003) and sister (Jeannie Margaret 1966 of Sault Ste. Marie), neice Marianne Leva (Anthony). Beloved husband of Elsie Bennett. Loving brother Richard (Christine), sister Elizabeth Barker and nephew Mike (Christina) all of Windsor, ON. Devoted father of Ann Hopkins (Keith), Nancy McLeod (Dale), James Bennett Jr. (Wendy), John Bennett (Kelly) and he will be sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren. Also survived by all his aunts, uncles, neices and cousins of Sault Ste. Marie / Windsor. Funeral times are Thursday, December 22nd at the St. Giles Anglican Church in Hawk Junction. Visitation is from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and services from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Luncheon is to follow at the Hawk Junction Community Hall. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to be forwarded to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Age 71, formerly of Sault St. Marie, Ontario, passed away at Cherry Meadows Hospice, Appleton, Wisconsin on Dec. 19, 2005 from complications following a courageous battle with acute myelogenous leukemia. Wally was born June 26, 1934 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada to Stanley and Mary Crockatt. He attended Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan where he met his beloved wife, Janet Masini. Wally, a hockey player and captain of the MTU Huskies hockey team was selected by Janet to escort her around the rink as a member of the Winter Carnival Court. They were married Sept.7, 1957 and shared 47 wonderful years together. Wally graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and his career in the Pulp and Paper industry took him to Abitibi, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario until 1969; Abitibi, Iroquois Falls, Ontario until 1974; Ontario-Minnesota/ Boise Cascade until 1976; Midtec/Repap, Miramichi, New Brunswick and Kimberly, Wisconsin until his retirement. Wally and Janet enjoyed golfing and many years of boating on Lake Winnebago, Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. Through the years, they developed many cherished friendships and their home was always open and welcoming. After retirement, Wally and Janet enjoyed summers at their home in Hancock, Michigan and winters in Sebring, Florida. After Janet's death, Wally found renewed faith from her strength in God and joined the Catholic Church during Easter 2005. This journey led him to his own spiritual peace and comfort during the last year of his life. Wally is preceded in death by his loving wife, Janet; grandson, Christopher; parents, Stanley and Mary Crockatt; father-in-law, Joseph Masini; and brother-in-law, Ron Hollingsworth. He leaves behind his three daughters, Deborah (Robert) Mann, Appleton, Wisconsin; Lisa (John) Finnegan, Winter Springs, Florida and Marti (special friend David) Crockatt, Hayward, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, April and Ashley Mann, Appleton, Wisconsin and Riley and Bennett Finnegan, Winter Springs, Florida; his sisters, Alice Hollingsworth, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and Marilyn (Gordie) Cook, Chester Basin, Nova Scotia, Canada; mother-in-law, Louise Masini, Coral Springs, Florida; brother-in-law, Joseph (Charlotte) Masini, Hancock, Michigan and sister-in-law, Sharon (Tony) Suppelsa, Coral Springs, Florida and numerous nieces, nephews and beloved friends and extended family. The family sends a special thank you to those who sent cards, prayers and calls with caring messages; to Doctors William Guenther, David Brooks and Charles Cheng for their expertise; the all the compassionate staff, Dr. John Swanson Jr. and Dr. Nancy Lindo-Drusch at Cherry Meadows Hospice for making Wally's last days so peaceful and free of pain and disruption; to the nursing and support staff at Appleton Medical Center, 3rd floor, Dale, Sister Ruth, Father David Belongea and so many others for their physical, emotional and spiritual care during Wally's six week of hospitalization. As his wife, Janet, did before him, Wally has donated his body to the Medical College at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin. There will be no funeral services at this time. A memorial service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 620 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, Wisconsin on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in memory of Wallace Crockatt for the Community Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1534, Appleton, Wisconsin, 54912-1534.

Suddenly at her late residence on Monday, December 19, 2005 Juliette (Soucie) Kelly of Lucan in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Eugene (Gene) Kelly. Peacefully at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on December 28th, 2005, Beverley Ann Catherine Adkins (nee MacLeod) of London (formerly of Sarnia) in her 74th year. Beverley was the loving mother of Catherine (Omar), David (Lynn), Paul, Margaret (Johan) and Michael (JoAnne) and proud and much loved grandmother of Adam, Zachary, Lauren, Steven, Sander, Nicholas and Jacob. She is survived by her beloved sister Rosemary Tomie of Sault Ste. Marie. Loving daughter of the late Dr. William and Catherine MacLeod of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Beverley touched many lives in many places, cultivating long lasting friendships and sharing her warmth and humour with all whom she knew. Her spirit and strength will always be remembered and treasured by all the friends and relatives who knew her. Visitation will be held at the Lloyd R. Quietly surrounded by friends and family, on the 28th of December 2005, at General Hospital, Sault Ste. Marie in her 55th year. Beloved wife of Robert Bruce Harten. Wonderful and loving mother of Robert Braidy Harten (Andrea), Alicia Brooke Harten (Darren) and Holly Anne Harten (Kevin). Loving daughter of Richard Angelo Piner and Constance Mary Piner (late). Sister of Shannon Brown (Craig) and Kristi Piner. Aunt of Robert Harten (Jen), Jayne Harten (Mike), David Aidan Brown and Victor Ryan Brown. Daughter in law of Helen Harten Charles (late). Loving friend and sister in law of Dale Harten and Charles Dale Harten. Cherished by many, many more friends and family both living and passed. Angela will be remembered as a woman of many hats. She would want us all to dry our tears and remember the times that made us smile, and know that the twinkle in her eye will still shine as bright as a star watching over all of us.
