passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the age of 68 years. Son of the late Alice and William Wigwaus. Husband of Wanda. Loving father of Drew, Sherri Leishman (Charles), Keith and Wendy Winch (Travis). Cherished grandfather of 6. Brother of Judy Van Atta (Harland) and the late Joyce Wigwaus. Gene will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Gene was proud to have served with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1960 - 1963. At Gene's request there will be no funeral service. A private family celebration will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758). Memorial donations made to the New Sault Area Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.

passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, August 28, 2006 at the age of 66 years young. Dearest mother of Daren Dubblestein and loving grandmother of Daniel and Alexander Dubblestein. Doreen Evelyn Dubblestein is the daughter of Margaret Pedersen (Anders) and the late Peter Carroll (late Mabel). Dear sister of Shirley Leigh (Johnston) of Sault Ste. Marie, Patrick Carroll (Helen) of Winnipeg, Betty Cristello (Rocky) of Sault Ste. Marie, Colleen Wright of Sault Ste. Marie, Duaine Carroll of Windsor, Andrea Pedersen of Sault Ste. Marie and Anders Pedersen of Windsor. Doreen is the unforgetable aunt to many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind many memories for her dear friends and family. After a short time apart, Jewel will be reunited with her loving husband of 59 years, Stan who has been her best friend for 72 years. Cherished mother of Jim (Sharon), Glenn (Roger), Rob (Bonita), Marla Fahrer (Gary) and the late Shiela Matheson (Ray). Caring and devoted grandmother of Lisa (Jay), Steven (Janelle), Teresa, Kathern (Dave), Billy, Hillary, Colton, Kyle, Mikayla, Adam, Shelley (Dean) and Denver. Special great grandmother of Jarrett, Brennan, Brady, Kayla, Brittany, Courtney, Thomas, Nicholas, Annie, Rayden and Ashlyn. She is survived by her sister, Carol Mooney. Born- 6/9/39 Ansonville, ON Canada Died- 8/18/06 Joseph (Joe) is survived by his wife Cathline Bedard, sons, Joseph Waite, Patrick Waite and wife Angie, their children Kayla and Tanner. Joshua Bedard, his wife Cortney and their son Joseph. Daughter Pierrette Butterfield, husband William and their children Billy, Alex and Elise. Joe also leaves behind his sisters: Martha, Georgette, Ursula and Jacqueline. We will miss him dearly but know that he is joined in heaven by his parents Rosa and Sixte Bedard, father-in-law Ted Lalonde and brothers Oliver and Clement. Joseph requested that there be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, 8/26/06 at 10:00 a.m. at Precious Blood Cathedral in Sault Ste. Marie.
