Peacefully at the Tendercare Nursing Home, with family by his side on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 in his 76th year. Beloved husband for 53 years to Therese. Loving father of Henri, Luc (Mary), Mario, Ron (Monique), Don, Jacques (Linda), Dave, Gaetan (Betty), Nancy Roussel (Alan), Diane Roussel (Paul), Gilles, Madeleine Roussel, Denise Lowe (Chris) and Patricia Whitmill (Derek). Proud grandpa of 23 and great grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Aline (late Gaetan), Yvonne (Aurele), Jeannette (Jean-Guy), Huguette (late Marcel), Lionel (Isabelle), Louis and predeceased by Gerard (Martha) and Bernard (Denise). Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, March 28, 2005 from 6-9 pm. At the family’s request, there will be no funeral service. Memorial contributions to Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

passed away at the General Hospital on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at the age of 72. Daughter of the late Hilda Ethel (nee Lewis) and Richard Edwin Keays of Carleton Place, Ontario. Mother of Richard Strong (Astrid) of Kingston, Ontario. Grandmother of Liam and Evan Strong. Claire is survived by her sisters Anne Jane von Aulock (Roger) of Cologne, Germany and Beth Smith (Ben) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Fondly remembered by her niece, nephews, Doctors Memory-Elvin and Walter Lewis and her special friend Pat McClure. A funeral service will be held at the St. Luke’s Cathedral on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 2pm. The Very Rev. Garry Dobinson officiating. Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Clinic or St. Luke’s Cathedral would be appreciated by the family. (Arrangements entrusted to the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 759-2114).

Peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the General Hospital on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 in his 72nd year. Loving father and friend of Natasha and the late Waseem “Bobby” Beg. Dear brother of Waheed (Shenaz), Busharat (late Tahira), Hafeez (Sadiqa), Nisar (Najma), late Javeed, Shaida Khan (Parvaz) and the late Saeeda Khan. Brother-in-law of Zahida Croskery (David). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A private ceremony “Jenaza” was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, June 14, 2006. Interment Greenwood Cemetery beside his son Bobby. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff and physicians at the General Hospital Intensive Care Unit. Special thank you to the Muslim Brothers of Sault Ste. Marie for their support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated.

Peacefully on June 3, 2006 at the N.H.S., St. Catharines Site. Henry Mikulka of St. Catharines in his 85th year. Beloved husband of 66 years to Anna Mikulka. Loving father of Marion Koprash of Sault Ste. Marie and Patt Hall and partner Steve Bennett of Whitby. Dear grandfather of George Koprash (Susan) of Sault Ste. Marie and Tammy McCormack (Jeff Ickovich) of Ottawa. Great grandfather of Cheryl McCormack, Kevin Koprash and Kristina Koprash. Will be remembered by his brother Mike and wife Ann Mikulka of Toronto. and step-brother Frank Mikulka of Florida. Predeceased by his daughter Bonnie Mikulka and son-in-law John Koprash. Family will receive friends at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines on Saturday June 17 from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Patrick Darte Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.

75, of Des Moines, died of a stroke in Petoskey, Michigan, Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Northern Michigan Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, at Grace Lutheran Church in Des Moines. Graveside and committal services will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Munterville Lutheran Church Cemetery. THE WESTOVER FUNERAL HOME in Des Moines is in charge of arrangements. Wally was born at home on October 2, 1930, in Chillicothe, Iowa, to Alfred William and Marie Mandolina (Kindblade) Anderson. He was a diligent worker on the family farm. During his teenage years he was also employed at the Chillicothe grain elevator. A 1948 graduate of Ottumwa High School, he worked at Haw Hardware and Osco Drug. He met Beverly Jean Barnes in 1951 and they were married on August 21, 1954. He also served in the Iowa National Guard. Wally began his postal career in 1957, working on the Railway Post Office and Highway Post Office and retired in 1990 as Logistics Coordinator for the Office of Transportation in West Des Moines, Iowa. Wally belonged to Grace Lutheran Church, Des Moines Woodworkers, and Grace United Church of Hilton Beach, Ontario, Canada. He especially enjoyed building 18th century colonial furniture reproductions, salmon fishing, activities at the cottage on St. Joseph Island, Canada and international travel, returning from Egypt and Jordan in February. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bev, son Dr. Bruce Anderson of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, sisters Doris Warwick of West Des Moines, and Ruth Fagan of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial donations can be made to Grace Lutheran Church of Des Moines or Grace United Church of Canada, Hilton Beach, Ontario. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, at Grace Lutheran Church.
