Peacefully at the General Hospital on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Rita for 59 years. Dearly loved father of Laura Candido (Norm). Adored grandfather of Jason Candido (Shannon) and Brian Candido (Kristy). Brother of Carman, Rose Sirie, Annie Andreyko and the late Irene McKinnon (late Gordon), Angeline Toffoli (late Ugo), Jimmy (late Nona) and Nick (late Alice). Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Grandmother of Dolores and Joe Proietti, Joe, Carmine and John Cerasuolo, Carmine, Amalia and Louisa Cersauolo, Maria Scott, Rosalia and Lisa Gallo. Great grandmother of Joshua, Jullian, Jaden, Samual, Alessandro adn Adele Cersauolo, Callum and Caitlin Scott, Shea and Andrew Collins. Chosen to lead and succeed to save the Soo Rapids Campaign. Hired for studies of Ecology of St. Mary’s River. Encouraged by father to plant trees. Lifetime total SSM 1990. Harry was instrumental in establishing the Bushplane Museum and served as a director for many years. He was also an active member and elder at Central United Church. “Those who sleep under a quilt, sleep under a blanket of love.”
